People are really out here questioning the legitimacy of 8flix when NICK RUNYEARD LITERALLY WROTE FOR ARRESTED DEVELOPMENT. HE WROTE FOR NETFLIX!! This man knows how to vet scripts for legitimacy and likely has contacts at Netflix that send him the scripts directly. The fact that people think Nick is a closet Byler putting out fake scripts is so insulting to this man's career.
Help why is this so funny to me
these are making me feel insane
Although I was a little disappointed with this line and it disproves the popular byler theory that El didn't like Mike's monologue, after a little thought about it, I actually prefer it??
Because part of Mike's arc this season has been his insecurities and how he needs to be needed. The reason why Will's van speech was so important to him was because it helped him become more confident in himself again.
If we go with the original interpretation that Mike's speech wasn't helpful at all to El, then it actually suggests that Will was wrong in naming Mike 'the heart', reinforcing his insecurities about himself, which would ultimately go against the connection that byler have been established to have as well as just being an awful message for Mike to take away.
Although the mleven break up might be a little messier than I'd hoped, I ultimately think that El will still choose independence, partly so that so she can focus on finding Max, especially as that will involve her powers, and she still has plenty of self discovery left to do. The fact that the end of El's s4 arc is so hinged on finding Max really does make me think this is going to happen.
Now I’m fully convinced something happened in the 2 days time skip. Because if El believed in Mike’s words, if those gave her strength, why isn’t she talking to Mike after the time skip??
i'm not opening that pandora box
