Junmyeon rolled his eyes when he heard yelling again go through the dorm. For some reason, Jongdae has now decided that he is Pikachu. Sometimes he really wished their abilities were just a concept like their company believed them to be. There had been countless times where the dorm was almost burned down, frozen solid, or mini tornadoes chasing Jongin down the hall. Those were easier to explain, a lot easier than sudden earthquakes or blackouts.
Junmyeon sighed as he set his book down, he can’t be too mad. Loss of control with their abilities happens. However, he did not appreciate Jongdae’s sudden need to shock everyone while yelling “Pika pika!” as he runs away from the person he shocked. As if on cue, a very angry and annoyed looking Sehun walked into the room.
“Junmyeon hyung! Jongdae hyung shocked me again!” The maknae crossed his arms and a small breeze picked up in the room.
“Alright, alright, I’ll talk to him okay? Don’t frown like that, your face will freeze like that.” Junmyeon chuckled and patted the younger on the shoulder. As Junmyeon walked closer to the room where Jongdae seemed to be attacking people, he could hear the other boys in the room yelling at the self-proclaimed Pikachu. When he finally reached the room, one of the boys yelled at him to duck. Junmyeon dropped to the floor and a lightning bolt flew right over him, smashing into the main hall’s wall.
“Kim Jongdae, enough!” Junmyeon stood up and yelled out. Jongdae looked at the older in shock. Junmyeon isn’t one to raise his voice at them. Every time it happened, it shocked them. They just are not used to him being mad at them. The other boys in the room quickly left, leaving Junmyeon and Jongdae to work it out alone. Jongdae’s eyes were wide as he sat on the bed and looked at Junmyeon. Although he likes causing trouble with Baekhyun and Chanyeol, he hated being in trouble alone. Junmyeon sighed and sat down on the bed next to Jongdae.
“Jongdae I don’t know where this started, and I’m glad you’re having fun. However, you need to remember to be careful. All of our abilities can hurt each other or even the environment around us.” Junmyeon spoke softly, he didn’t mean to yell before. His ability and Jongdae’s ability could really cause destruction if used in the wrong way.
“I’m sorry… I didn’t mean to- I was just trying to have some fun.” Jongdae apologized quickly. Junmyeon stood up and walked out of the room. He ran his fingers through his hair and nodded at the other. He had a couple of other phone calls to make before the offices at the entertainment company closed. Jongdae sat in his room sadly, he looked at the empty space in the door. Quietly getting up, he closed the door and turned off the light, maybe a nap would help him get back into a good mood.
After an hour, the boys all gathered around to discuss dinner together. Jongdae was the only one who wasn’t around. Junmyeon felt awful when Baekhyun came back without Jongdae, it seems the other didn’t want to see the other’s right now. They all decided on something Jongdae would like if he decided to come out of his room tonight. Of course, Junmyeon had to go pick it up because it was across the city by the Tower. As Junmyeon sat in his car, he thought for a moment. It always felt wrong when one of them was angry or wanted alone time, so they could find a way to forgive the others. Junmyeon chuckled, Jongdae couldn’t stay mad for long. Especially with the plan he just came up with, he needed to hurry though, otherwise, he wouldn’t be able to get the food and buy something for his plan.
Jongdae laid in his bed, sad and confused. He didn’t know what to do. Although he wanted to go eat with his family, he didn’t want to see anyone angry with him. He hated seeing them angry. Although he wanted to take a nap, his thoughts were racing too quickly. He never even had a chance to fall asleep before an hour or so had passed.
He laid there and tried to think about what he did wrong. He knew their abilities were dangerous, but he just saw the new Pokémon movie and he wanted to have some fun with his friends. He does have a hard time seeing the line between fun and being too much. Jongdae sat up and looked at his bedside clock, they would be eating dinner soon. As if someone read his mind, there was a knock on his door. Jongdae stood up and quickly fixed his hair. He smiled and opened the door to see Jongin on the other side.
“Dinner is here, we were hoping you would like to come eat with us?” Jongin smiled cutely. Of course, they sent Jongin. Jongdae could never say no to Jongin, the younger had some sort of power over Jongdae. He was just too adorable to say no to.
“Of course, I will come eat with you all. What are we having?” Jongdae tilted his head slightly.
“Oh! You are going to love this, we are having chicken tonight!” Jongin spoke excitedly and grabbed Jongdae’s hand. Jongdae quickly shut the door before he was dragged away by a teleporting bear cub. The food was already set up and Jongin sat down next to Sehun, while Jongdae sat next to Minseok. Junmyeon and Kyungsoo walked in with some plates and set them all in their proper place. Junmyeon sat down and they started talking amongst each other as they passed around the food. Junmyeon made sure everyone had some before he gathered their attention.
“Jongdae, I know I said something that may have hurt you earlier.” Junmyeon started.
The other boys started to protest, but Junmyeon quickly stopped them. He walked up to Jongdae and smiled. He pulled the other up and told him to go get a yellow shirt and come back to the table. Confused, Jongdae did as he was told. He quickly grabbed a yellow shirt from inside his room and walked back out to the dinner table. Junmyeon chuckled and smiled at the others as he pulled out a black headband, it would match Jongdae’s hair. It was a Pikachu headband. Junmyeon put is on Jongdae and covered Jongdae’s cheeks with some stickers that came with the headband. Junmyeon walked away from the confused Jongdae and sat down at his spot.
“Come on our PikaDae needs his energy, right?” Junmyeon chuckled and started eating with the others. Jongdae smiled brightly and sat down. After all, he was their PikaDae. He needed to stay on his toes to keep them energized!

lilac: would you rather sleep and be cozy or hang out with your friends? I’m gonna be that person that says sleep and be cozy :’) I enjoy alone time way to much I’m such a home body. I love going out with friends but then I need to be alone for like 3 days to recuperate.

Jongdae
-date night gone wrong + “there’s nothing to be scared of, okay? I’m right here.”
After some convincing, mostly from the his parents, the king and queen, Jongdae finally agreed to give you a small tour of the kingdom. It was the first time you to would spend the evening alone.
Outside the palace was the First District, which is where he took you. You could tell he was making the date up as time went on, sometimes mumbling about the history of the kingdom and other times remaining completely silent until you bothered him with a question. You started out walking side by side, your arm looped through his, but his long strides broke you apart, so he remained a step ahead of you.
You tried not to feel disappointed. You knew his interest level was below zero and by no means would he humor you with fake enthusiasm. When you thought more about it, it actually made you find him more charming because of his brutal honesty. You knew he would make a fine king indeed.
He led you through a side street that would cut to the main road in half the time you spent wandering around the district. Lost in your thoughts, you didn’t realize he stopped walking until you bumped into his outstretched arm.
“Jongdae?”
Without a word, he pulls his sword from its sheath at his hip, bracing it as two figures appeared from the alley’s exit. He pushes you farther back before advancing to them.
Immediately, swords clash and violence rings out in the darkening alley. You watch Jongdae take on the two thieves, calling to him when you see one of them ready to make a surprise attack. The two of them gang up on the prince, pushing him back towards you and you hear him yell for you to take cover. One of the thieves breaks away and advances to you, and you desperately look for something you can use as a weapon or shield. Failing, you retreat farther back, calling to the prince even though he was preoccupied. You hear a sickening clash and then the stench of blood fills the air. The thief is steps away from you, taking his time with his prey, but he doesn’t get to catch you, From behind, Jongdae slashed the sword against his back, brutally injuring the thief so he has no choice but to retreat.
Jongdae struggles to catch his breath, but his eyes search and find you huddled against the wall, barely containing your shakes. He puts his sword away, and hurries over to you. He crouches down and unexpectedly sweeps you into his arms.
“There’s nothing to be afraid of. I’m here.” He soothes. You can feel his sweat seeping through his uniform, lucky there was no trace of blood. “I’m sorry.”
“It’s not like you set this up.” You reply through shaky breaths.
“I should have been more careful and known better than to take a princess through the alleys this late.” He carefully brings you up to standing, his hold still tight on you. “Let’s go home.” He guides you out of the alley back into the safety of the main road, arm tight around your waist with no signs of letting go.
