inquisitiveness
"Chris Thile has started to pursue his understanding of classical music, I think in the same way that he did with bluegrass music when he was a kid, and he approached with the same sense that this is still happening—there's a way to go back to the source of this stuff with this certain level of inquisitiveness. It's something that is very dynamic, regardless of how far you're taking your inspiration from.
"My definition of good music is music that is intellectually well-constructed, but just as much something that is played with soul and from the heart."
