What would the shapes of the areas look like? What treasures and creatures would be inside them?

Also god Pikmin Echo is flipping fantastic. Be proud of yourself.

I've posted a few artworks of the areas, but they'd basically be like,

"What would it look like if you were able to go out of bounds in the original 5 areas in the original Pikmin? What lies just outside of view?" The Tearful Grotto is what lies outside of the Impact Site, after you bust down a wall behind the Pearly Clamclamps

The Thicket of Light is on the outskirts of the Forest of Hope

The Forgotten Pond is outside of the Distant Spring,

The Belly of the Planet is outside of the Forest Navel,

(I haven't drawn these two yet)

and the Wild Edge of course, is the area behind the Emporer Bulblax's arena.

Quick pikmin doodles based on the ideas and concepts from @descenacre's "Pikmin Echo" series.

I redesigned the main three to be kind of related to the three new pikmin types (especially since they share onions now).

Basically it's "What if the three original pikmin types fit the universe of Pikmin Echo?"

I now see them in three distinct categories: Battle, Exploration, and Water.

The red pikmin are now rounder and shorter to be slightly connected to their new candy relatives... and to just make them look more like raddishes. I would call them "Spicy Pikmin" since Red Pikmin have always been the more aggressive species. Plus, Sugar and Spice. Need I say more?

Yellow pikmin are thinner and lankier to be closely related to the new Thorn Pikmin. The design kind of reminds me of those balls with those loose tails that make them appear to be like comets. "Flying Pikmin", if you will.

Blue pikmin now has little feelers and big feet. Those are their flipper! So now when they swim, they look like little mermaids. I call them "Marine Pikmin".
