i think a lot about leafling face design #6. you see this design first in serene shores, and it's simply four dots for the eyes. you don't think much of it at first, just more of the silly stylized ways eyes are done in these games...

...until you see them blink. it becomes apparent that these leaflings actually have four eyes instead of two.

when the pikmin leafify someone, and they create a new face for the victim, why is there a variable amount of eyes they end up with? are we gonna see a pikmin type with four eyes in the future? also how is puddle able to give you a look like this, does she split your eyes in half or add new ones onto your face?
