'The Old Man Of Minnigaff' 7th or 8th Century CE Symbol Stone, Newton Stewart Museum, Dumfries and Galloway, Scotland
A first visit for me.
The combination of figures suggest these are Matthew (Man) and John (Eagle). As they have no halo, book or wings they likely represent a very early form. The man is similar to those found on a stone at Mooney, Ireland and the Matthew figure in the Book of Durrow.
The stone was discovered being used as a lintel in the Market House when it was being demolished. It would suggest the presence of an early Irish Monastery, at or near, the Monigaff Church site.
