PILPENNIA GOING ON ADVENTURES (Ill be sure to answer mine in the morning!!)
(I tried.)
They had accomplished quite a bit to day…Well, if you could assume actually leave the city, not running into any Thalmor, and not getting eaten by two cave bears an accomplishment. But it was time to set camp for the evening.
That’s where the trouble started.
“What do you mean we can’t set up a fire, Pip?” Asked the Altmer girl incredulously, “Do you realize how cold it is? We could freeze to death! I don’t know how people survive here!” The Alchemist couldn’t help but give a chuckle at the bewildered expression on her face. “Relax, Elennia,” He said, “I brought fire salts. They’ll do the trick without risking being attacked by wandering bandits…or another bear.”
It was clear that Elennia wasn’t happy about this, a pout forming on her lips while her arms folded across her chest. But she could see his point, albeit begrudgingly. Skyrim got rather cold at night, and she wasn’t certain that a pouch of fire salts would be enough.
It was somewhat later when the two decided to rest for the night, or rather Elennia falling asleep while Pilpen kept watch. He wasn’t exactly a night sleeper anyway for rather obvious reasons. To kill time, he had brought some books to read for the long nights ahead.
The watch was uneventful until about halfway through his book when he felt something cold poke at him. It startled him as he glanced down to see what it was. Was it a-
A foot?
He must have not notice her cuddle up to him while she was sleeping. Huh, she really didn’t like the cold, then. In the spirit of fairness, he poked her ankle back with his own foot. This earned him the sight of Elennia’s face pouting in her sleep, and seeming to poke back on instinct.
Pilpen would spend a good part of the night having a poke war with Elennia, who had some pretty funny expressions while she slept.
