What type of old-time automobile would fit Zaun/Piltover and more importantly which would fit Val? How would she use it as status symbol? This can include trolleys (since it seems the city uses those and elevators a lot)
//Before going into what vehicle Valentina would use, in terms of vehicles, I personally headcanon that they are more prevalent in Piltover than Zaun given the structures of the cities, however it is not as if they don’t exist in Zaun at all.
The roads primarily exist on the mid/lower levels of Zaun where the mid-levels are used mostly by the rich and the low levels used by the lower-class citizens (who own vehicles of some kind, or who have created their own from junk as it is totally possible). Looking at how they are not so widely manufactured or used given the lack of open space, having a vehicle at all is a status symbol. It is what it looks like/its make that determines how much status one gains from it, however.
Valentina personally does not drive nor does she have a driver. Not that she can’t afford it, she simply uses to choose her money elsewhere, and she enjoys walking as it gives her the opportunity to scout potential Rose employees. But, if she were to have any automobile, she would perhaps have something akin to a 1947 Cadillac.
In terms of what automobiles would fit Zaun or Piltover as a whole, anything from around the 1940′s seems to suit my personal image of the cities. Sportscars with their tops down would be more popular in Piltover; police cars would probably resemble this look based on the notion that the boisterous PPD tend to hang out of their vehicles like mad-people.
