right. but you get how the sysmed/transmed comparison of ‘trans people with medically diagnosable gender dysphoria who identify their transness as a disorder = people with DID, trans people who don’t identify their transness as a disorder whether or not they have diagnosable dysphoria = endos’ equals out to ‘people with DID have medically diagnosable multiple self states and *choose to identify that as a disorder,* endos are Everyone Else’ and erases every other part of DID, yes? DID is not alter disorder. there’s more than one symptom. gender is not the disorder of which dysphoria is a symptom. they’re just not appropriately comparable no matter how convenient that is for you rhetorically.
... What? I had to read this a few times before I understood.
We never said DID is alter disorder? We never said people with DID are someone who CHOOSE to identify as anything. We understand DID is a medical diagnosis, just like Gendder Dysphoria is.
All I said is that transmeds who believe you can ONLY be trans IF you have gender dysphoria, are similar to sysmeds who belive you can ONLY be plural IF you have DID. When there are people who don't have gender dsyphoria diagnosis, but they clearly are trans, and they may be non binary. So like some people don't have DID diagnosis, but they clearly are PLURAL, and they may be endo.
So I don't get how they are not comparable, when they are very much similar.
