pinacolodaranger replied to your post: As per what @pinacolodaranger said on twitter, I...
HONESTLY that’s so many dudes that’re into dinosaurs on the net, I’ve found? They mostly hang out in the Jurassic Park fandom but I’m surprised they’re in the Power Rangers one cuz… that’s not the most accurate Dino related thing so you’d think they’d know to not get their panties in a twist about it???
God, don’t get me started. DON’T EVEN GET ME STARTED!
lol
★ Amber? 👀
She’s very much ‘daddy’s little girl’ and has Billy so wrapped around her finger that he doesn’t notice it despite how often Avalon points it out.
pinacolodaranger replied to your post: Unpopular PRiSpace opinion: I found Ashley to be...
I felt bad cuz it’s not the fact that she’s girly that bothers me? I like Kim and tend to prefer the feminine rangers (Alyssa over Taylor in WF for example). With Ashley I’m not sure what happened omg. I don’t know if it was turbo or inspace where she and Cassie were arguing over that guy but it rly didn’t help my opinion of her hdjdhssbbxj
Somehow, in my own memories before going to re-watch the show, I don’t remember one where Cassie and Ashley were fighting over the same guy. And, funny enough, I used to extremely dislike Cassie as well. And for her, I think it was just because I felt that they made her character...try too hard. I didn’t blame the actress of course, you can only do so much with what you’re given.
But Ashley, man. I freaking...ugh. I don’t think anything can change my opinion of her.
1, 4, and 5?
1) How old were you when you first starting writing fanfiction?
Riley: Uhhhh?? 8 or 9? Technically I wrote RPF (real person fanfiction) considering I’d write stories about me and my friends and guys I had crushes on. And, yes, I still cringe about this. It’s not even funny.
Rhuben: Oh, I couldn’t tell you. I don’t think there’s ever been a time where I haven’t been writing fanfiction – I mean, besides the times where I just didn’t know how to write. Looking back on it, I don’t even know what prompted me to start it. I can think as far back as, maybe, 3rd grade having a Pokemon OC.
4) What is your favourite genre to write for?
Riley: Action/Adventure full stop. I fucking love writing fast-paced action and fight scenes (as much of a bitch they can be) and showing the journey a hero goes through. But, honestly, I like writing this genre the most because all other genres (romance, friendship, family, angst, hurt/comfort, drama, humor, tragedy, mystery, horror, suspense, etc.) can fall within it and make sense while the other genres, in my opinion, can make me feel a bit trapped.
Rhuben: Same as above Action/Adventure. It’s just so much fun seeing where you can take an overarching plot throughout a story. And, come on, who hasn’t watched an action movie and thought about what it would be like to be a part of it? I try and bring that much excitement into my stories with other subplots mixed in of course.
5) If you had to choose a favourite out of all of your multi chaptered stories, which would it be and why?
Riley: I’m going to give a really boring answer and say, it depends on my mood. Sometimes I’m nostalgic and enjoy the very first story I wrote as my favorite (of which is deleted), if I’m in the mood for a straight romance it’d be one of my many Kiley-centered Big Time Rush stories, if I’m in a friendship mood it’d be my Forever fic, Life’s Little Mysteries, if it’s action/adventure it’d probably be Flash Fire or any of my Suite Life/Elemental fics. It honestly, really, depends on my mood.
Rhuben: Of all time? Couldn’t choose. At the moment? Probably my Mighty Ducks fanfic, Flying Solo. And I’m only choosing that at the moment as it’s one of the most recent finished ones I’ve done (that I remember doing. haha). I really enjoyed that fic because it kept me on my toes in terms of how far I could take the characters and expand their roles in a different time period. I had to take the time to Google what kind of technology there was back in the 90s to remember something as small as what kind of cell phones were out at the time. And, there were a lot of canon characters to work with, that I got more experience working with to have them all be relevant/have their own sort of subplot, and tie it back in with the story.

"Teach Me?" For Tommy and Bailey?
Bailey pressed her lips together, surveying the pile of…stuff in front of her. Stuff to anyone else, climbing gear to her. It was a process, she realized. To make sure she had everything she needed. Of course, she had to do it a few times, just to make doubly sure.
Quit being such a worry-wart, Bay, you have everything. She could practically hear Avalon tease her. Bailey smiled. Easy for her to say, when her sister was the one who refused to ever go rock climbing wit her. No one knew it, but Av was afraid of heights.
She was so much more afraid of her baby sister falling from said height, but supported her with every interest she had. It was all she could ask for. Though having a climbing partner always would’ve been more fun.
“Hey.” Bailey looked up and smiled as Tommy entered her room with a warm smile. He reached out and ruffled her hair, making her quickly smooth it back into place. He knew she hated it when he did that. “What’s all this stuff. It looks like you’re going camping.”
“Close,” Bailey replied. “I’m going rock climbing, yeah?”
Tommy looked at her in surprise, making Bailey stifle a sigh. It was the same look she always received when she talked about her first love in life–apart from learning. A girl like her couldn’t rock climb. Shouldn’t rock climb. She was too delicate. She was a girl. She’d break too easily. Bailey didn’t believe that for a second, but everyone else seemed to think she was too small, too weak to do it.
A smirk came to her face when her communicator glinted in the sunlight streaming through the window. If only they knew. She looked back at Tommy, ready to defend herself of her choice–who knew he could be more protective of her than Avalon was–and found nothing but curiosity in his eyes.
A welcome change.
“I didn’t know you rock climbed,” he said.
Bailey shrugged, blushing modestly. “I’ve done it for a little while.”
“But you have all this stuff.” Tommy picked up a carabiner attached to a long stretch of rope. He looked over it then at her climbing outfit, complete with gloves and boots. “Looks really serious.”
Bailey shrugged again. “I guess.” It was strange, she absolutely loved to rock climb but…had never really shared it with anyone before. Never really got the chance to talk about herself. She had become so used to keeping a low profile, to sticking to herself that it was difficult for her to open up at times. She’d faced enough ridicule and isolation over the years to keep her quiet.
“Is anyone going with you?”
Bailey shook her head. “Just me.”
“You can”t go by yourself,” Tommy said. His voice was filled with so much concern that Bailey couldn’t help her immediate response.
She bristled. Showed a rare side of herself she seldom showed. Anger. “I’ve done this for a long time, Tommy. I can handle myself. I’m not some little girl that needs to have her bloody hand held all the time.”
Tommy’s eyebrows rose in surprise. Good, Bailey thought stubbornly. Serves him right. Tommy had a habit of sticking his foot in his mouth, thankfully, this time, he’d only managed to put his toes in. “I’m just saying it may not be safe, what if you get hurt.”
“Then I get hurt. And I’ll figure something out. I always do.” She picked up her backpack and slung it over her shoulders. Then stopped. Mr. and Mrs. Cranston knew where she was going, had given her permission, but couldn’t give her a ride. Avalon was also busy. And Billy was nowhere to be found… “Um.” Sheepishly, Bailey lowered her chin, already regretting snapping at Tommy like that. “Do…do you think you could give me a ride?”
Tommy smiled. Bless his heart. He was never completely turned off by anyone who was angry at him. He was too nice, too understanding for his own good. Either that, or he truly did have a massive soft spot for the purple ranger. “I’ll do you one better, I’ll go with you.”
That made Bailey’s smile wane. Just for a second. Suspicious. “I told you, I don’t need you to–”
“I’ve never gone rock climbing before. And I’ve always wanted to learn. Who better than to learn from the expert?” He grinned at her. “Think of it as..returning the favor. For teaching you martial arts.”
Bailey thought about it, smiled, then nodded. Tommy had really gone out of his way to teach her whenever she buzzed around him, babbling about martial arts and wanting to learn as much as possible. She couldn’t have been anything more than a pest and he still spoke to her with nothing but patience. How could she say ‘no’?
Besides, it wasn’t every day someone taught Tommy Oliver something.
"Why are you so nice to me" for Kim, Trini and Avalon?
“Oh, no.” Kimberly patted her pockets. She twisted her blue backpack to her front and searched through the pockets in there as well. “This, like, can’t be happening.”
Trini looked over from the keychains hanging by the register. “What’s the matter, Kim?” She pulled her long dark hair from behind her shoulders. “Did you lose something?”
“I hope not, or my mom would kill me.” Kimberly shook her head, bangs whisping across her forehead. “She said if she had to cancel my credit cards again, she’d cut them up, no questions asked.”
“Ooh.” Trini winced.
Kimberly sighed, dropping her hand from her backpack. “I forgot my wallet at school.” She chewed her lower lip, glancing longingly at the jeans and blouses piled up onto the counter. Of which the cashier looked at Kimberly with the utmost frustration. She grabbed the clothes and started to set them aside. “No, don’t do that!”
“Well, I don’t know if you know how this works,” the cashier snapped. “But if you want the clothes, you need some mo-ney.”
Kimberly bristled. “I know that.” She folded her arms. “I’m just... a little low on funds right now.” She looked over at Trini and stuck out her lower lip. “Trin, do you think you can spot me a few bucks?”
Trini shrugged apologetically. “I wish I could. But I have to save as much as I can for my mom’s birthday gift.”
“Okay.” Kimberly reached for her cell phone. “I’ll just call my mom and get her credit card number.”
“‘I’ll pay for it,” Avalon offered. She stood to Kimberly’s other side, looking over the packet of stickers they had on display. Hearing nothing but silence in response, she looked up at the ensuing silence and saw Kimberly and Trini staring at her. “What?”
“Why are you being so nice to me?” Kimberly asked. Her voice was light and friendly, though Avalon recognized the suspicion laced in her tone.
Avalon blinked in surprise. “Am I not nice?”
“No.”
The immediate response from both the pink and yellow rangers made the orange ranger lift her hand and give them both the finger.
