I have a chore that I must do today, so I have been breaking it into small chunks of time. That chore?
Setting up a new Android Tablet. It arrived with only the absolutely bare bones of Android 15, and that is a whiner. (And I mean whiner, it keeps complaining about every step I take, and making some of them way harder than necessary.) The most common whine is that the program I'd rather use for file management, my keyboard, the home app, etc. is a "security risk.!" And I'm going, "And you aren't?" Basically every Google App wants contacts, phone access, location data, you name it, Google has to have it. Soon, very soon, ADB to the rescue. Other than that it's a nice small name brand (AllDoCube). I know this because I've been using another AllDoCube tablet since 2019, and the only reason for the new tablet is that the old one is just that. Six years and 6 reiterations of Android later, the newer software is causing issues with the 2GB of Ram and 16 GB harddrive.
The only major problem, so far, is that the Google Home App has left a ghost image of its SearchBar, but that'll hopefully end when I disable and/or hibernate (sleep) the sucker. We'll see.
One final note, I didn't really want this particular tablet, but the PineTab 2 is out of reach as long as the Tariff situation may result in a $30 to $270 price hike.
