Reasons to 'block' your fiber art when you use a natural fiber:

Before and after! I know the new picture's a better quality, but still, you can now see the pineapple pattern without visually hunting for it. (I don't know why I didn't take the first pic on the white table lol.) Before size is 15.5 inches, After size is 17 inches and it lays completely flat instead of curled.

Honestly, when I finished the project back in 2022, I didn't think it was ever gonna lay flat, as if it were an error I made in tension or something, but no, all it needed was a soak and to be stretched/pinned down to dry.

Current progress on a drawer liner doily I’m crocheting for the new Kallax shelf; it’s where I’m gonna make my big Aphrodite altar and I want something pretty in the drawers over the regular liners I’m getting, and as a crocheter I immediately went there hehe 😌 one drawer is gonna hold my essential oils and a jar of water for my aroma lamp, so that one definitely needs to be lined to protect the drawer from being ruined by oil spills. Another is gonna hold my tarot decks so I want something pretty and cosy to put them on so they feel appreciated even when being stored lol. 🙈

I've been working on this top for 3 days. My hands hurt from re-doing the decorative pineapple stitch at least 10 times, ill if I have enough yarn to finish it, and I'm so tired. But it's so cute.

I really hope it fits and that I have enough yarn because I'm never making one of these again.
