I arrived in Charleston on one of the most beautiful days ever which is probably why I walked over 7 miles today! I’m waiting until @andrewbrownid gets here tomorrow to visit historic houses, plantations, and antique shops. Fun fact about this garden. The Pineapple Gates House, to which it belongs, is owned by author Margaret Bradham Thornton. I bought her book, A Theory of Love, in Sag Harbor last summer. I bought her other book, Charleston, to read on this trip.
