Being on a boat with only yourself and your brother was fun, but turning around and going to a port that was filled with people made even Stan nervous. Not that he’d let Ford know he couldn’t do it, since he dragged the nerd with him and he probably hated it as much as he did. He always did drag him around into doing something he would never want to do huh? Stan shook his head, trying to ignore the thoughts that had been swirling in his head the last couple of days.

He always had these days where he felt like his mind was beating him back down to the ground, but he was supposed to be fine, he had everything he ever wanted.

Stan felt a shoulder run into him and he stumbled back, head whipping around with a glare to who hit him. When he turned back he couldn’t find Ford, which honestly wasn’t a problem. Except as he looked he felt people getting closer and closer to him and he couldn’t go anywhere and his eyes started scanning for a way out, his breathing not quite as strong as it had been before. He was trapped, he couldn’t find Ford, and fuck his head was starting to hurt.

The headache burst, sending pain radiating through the front of his head before it slowly eased back only leaving a dull ache in his temple.

He looked up and realized he had no idea where he was.

there's no frustration quite like what i am feeling right now. it turns out that i am a bit stubborn, would you believe it? there really is nothing quite like arguing with yourself. "oh come ... come on! this is clearly dangerous." my words are exasperated and i let out a sigh as i gesture towards the shoddy device in front of us. i pause then, glancing at it for a few moments. oh damn it all, it would be quite fun to test it out. "fine, fine. as long as you find the fire extinguisher."

my brow raises, nodding at the others response. clearly, i do not trust him as well. "at least you have your wits about you." the fact that i am communicating with another version of myself is fascinating and concerning. this could be incredibly dangerous. "it's a miracle that we haven't completely destroyed this dimension by being this close to each other." i pause, taking a small step backwards, eyes narrowing. "best to keep some more distance ... to be safe."

Boredom made her head feel heavy on his desk as she poked a glass containing sharp teeth submerged in pretty hot pink formula. She had been blowing raspberries for the past 2 minutes and a half with no signs of needing to stop to catch her breath.

My first impression of you from wayy back was that you were super sweet and a great Stan. And that hasn't changed! You have such a grasp on the grumpy old man and I adore our interactions~ keep being awesome <3

((I think Stan likes to think he’s pretty much fearless, but at the same time I think he’s scared of a lot of things. Not of what could happen to the world in a couple of years or something, he’s scared of people. 10 years being homeless, time spent in 3 jails, and 30 years working at a tourist trap hasn’t really endeared him to humanity honestly, and all his fears stem from what people could do because he’s seen people do some pretty terrible shit when they needed to.

He’s done some pretty terrible shit when it came down to it.))
