Hi, what's the url for your main blog? :) I checked your side bar but the url it showed was this blog's url.
Hi~ aw man I don’t know why the side bar isn’t working haha I’ll take a look into it when I’m on my laptop
My main blog is jewell-cheng.tumblr.com It’s sometimes nsfw and has 70 followers hahaha
Thanks for your interest in it 🍑
So sorry guys I keep accidentally posting onto this blog rather than my main blog! Please ignore whatever haha 🙇🏻
Do you have reset tips? Thank you!
Hi! :3
Well when I resetted I wanted to have some bells and items to work with so that the beginning wouldn’t be so gruelling. So basically I kept all the items I needed (silver tools, special flowers or fruits, and the furniture items that I loved) I didn’t keep any clothes since I always use QRs :) I converted all the remaining items to bells and then kept all the bells and the things I needed in the closet
Afterwards a friend allowed me to dump all the things I wanted to retain in her town. I then resetted and did the introduction bit, and then was able to go back to her town to collect it :)
Also, if the reason you are resetting is because you felt that things were messy in town, I recommend making a map plan of the town :) I allocated which areas I wanted villagers to stay in (using villager reset) and which PWPs I wanted and where to put them. I also planned the fruit tree garden and the walkway, so that I can put down paths and would be able to run over them without seeing the dirt track develop.
Thanks for your ask and I hope it helps :3 happy resetting!!🍃☁️✨🍑🍁
you'll love it IF you're into designing so if ur not you'll probably hate it you can redesign houses you've already done but you can't build relationships and there's not set number of animals. u get to choose from 4 different ones each day other than like the town projects and amiibos are for characters u want to choose immediately & like Isabelle & digby & those characters 💓🙂
Hmmm I do like designing my house interior, but I do feel that furniture options are rather limited haha so I’m still not too sure about whether to get it. But I think I shall wait it out, since I’m planning to get Shovel Knights and finish my Phoenix Wright games hehe nonetheless thank you for the reply :3 it’s really nice that the AC community replies posts and stuff. Like I’m met with cricket noises in my anime blog hurrr
Is it just me or do you guys feel that the furniture for animal crossing,, is a little lacking? Like in terms of furniture design, there could be a lot more potential with it? Idk maybe it’s just me. I’m not complaining because A LOT of work goes into games (since I do 3D modelling too and that itself is a heck load of time and effort), and I’m happy with the house customisation. But many furniture sets do not really appeal to me. But of course I love and totally adore some sets like the winter snowflake set is beautiful, the exquisite set, rococo set, exotic set. And I really love those Japanese furniture like with the hearth and folding screens and beckoning cats and tatami mats. And those library themed rooms with dino models or those spa themed rooms with zodiac… Ok I love a lot of the furniture haha
But I’m talking about those really boring or those really jarring in your face plastic looking sets like the lovely set or the or the balloon set
I could name more but I don’t wanna dash the furniture decisions you guys could have picked ehehe
But of course so many people on tumblr have made M A G I C in achhd
Hey! Just wanted to answer your questions. 1. There is not a certain limit. Well, 400+ animals are in achhd (not including the special ones, telling you about that later.) and that's the limit. But you can re-design every house as often as you want! You gain more and more furniture while playing. For example; When you're designing a new house and get a new couch but you think this couch would fit in poppys house too, you can just talk to her and re-design it!
Ahh I see thanks for the reply :) wait so eventually you would have 400ish houses in game?? :o that’s a lot!
😄🏡✍🏼
Should I try Happy Home Designer?? :D since I'm kinda stumped with ACNL right now. Is it lots of fun? It looks super pretty Do you have a number of villagers to design rooms for? Or do you have to get the amiibo cards for that to happen?
Rainy day
I’ve been off animal crossing and tumblr recently. I’ve just been so busy with school. I’m in an animation course and my school is quite well known for being pretty intensive and hard on its students. And the field in which I’m in is inherently a very tedious and time consuming one
I wish that I could have some time set aside to play animal crossing. But whenever the small window of opportunity pops up, I don’t seem to have the same fun I did. After I resetted my town, everything just became controlled by me since I wanted to have a beautiful town with manicured forests. It was blissful the first few weeks. The new start felt like everything was getting organised and falling into place and I felt at peace with it. However, in later weeks, I was so caught up with perfection, that it ended up killing the fun for me. I couldn’t feel that bond between myself and the villagers since I am so fully aware that they have been hand-picked by me as acceptable enough to move into my town. There was no spontaneity. Talking to them and attending to them felt like chores I had to do. Digging fossils, writing letters, watering wilting flowers and catching golden beetles felt like chores. And the adherence to walking slowly in order to ensure that I don’t leave trails felt so stifling. And it is a very different feeling from when I played in my first town. It felt more natural then. But I started seeing all these beautiful towns on tumblr and I got inspired to try to create a beautiful town too. But I must be doing something wrong since I feel really stressy sometimes while playing nowadays.
I’m wondering when this feeling will go away, if it does at all. I’m also thinking about resetting for the third time, and this time, I’ll let everything continue without my intervention
Sorry for the downer haha I missed talking on this blog. So I thought about sharing my feelings about this.
Do any of you feel like this too?
Nonetheless I will always love animal crossing. It’s a beautiful game and the problem I now have with it lies in the way I’m playing it I guess. But it feels like I couldn’t have it any other way
(On a happier side note! I'm itching to do acnl fan art again :3 I've been improving with this digital painting module I'm taking this semester! And maybe I'll open commissions across my various blogs)
