What exactly is forraging? Sorry if you already had this questions c:

Foraging,

"(of a person or animal) search widely for food or provisions." (via google)

So pretty much it's just the activity of searching for food rather than just having it handed to them, hiding it under a pile of toys, sticking treats in unconventional locations, making them have to work for their food.

Foraging is an excellent enrichment method, great stimulation, keeps them busy, teaches them to play by themselves, gives them positive reinforcement for it.  Foraging is a major part of being a bird, in the wild they're constantly searching for food, digging around bushes to find it, shuffling dirt out of the way to find seeds, cracking open hulls to get the nut inside.  It really helps to activate their minds and get them thinking, developing new skills and can really help when dealing with pluckers, screamers, and bored birds.
