Launch Day!
The PMO is now open for our community-wide beta test!
Head on over to https://pinkmoonobservatory.com to explore our brand new site. Before you can access content past the homepage, please register for an account with us.
Right now, the site is something of a blank slate. We’re hoping for the PMO to be a community hub for SessKag fans, and this means that we’ll need content creators to post their works on the site to truly make it come alive. We have some exclusive content by some of our amazing artists and writers to celebrate the launch, but we need SessKag fans like you to make full use of this space as well!
Don’t forget to check out the blog post “Admin Update: Welcome to the Pink Moon Observatory” for a welcome notice by our site admin, ForgettableFox, as well as to find out more about the state of the PMO and some available resources should you have any questions or issues about the site.
Last but not least, we’re relying on you to thoroughly beta test the PMO as you use it, since our previous internal beta tests were small and might’ve missed some issues. The PMO is still in its early stages, and once we’ve established a “baseline” for ourselves, we can work on adding cool new features to further enhance your SessKag experience.

Why call it the “Pink Moon Observatory”?
What's the secret behind our name, the "Pink Moon Observatory"? We chose to represent both halves of our beloved pairing with imagery that incorporates Sesshōmaru's distinctive crescent moon marking, as well as the Pink Moon, which occurs during Kagome's birthday month in April. Of course, you can just call it the "PMO" for short 😉
Launch Day Event: April 8
Launch day celebrations continue at the PMO! This week, we’ll have more PMO-exclusive SessKag content ready for you, from some of our brilliant fandom creators: artists @elevenharbor, @cookieasylum, and sundayauruu, as well as writers @monomyth-writes, Echohuntress, and @ladygoshawk. This Friday, 8 April, they’ll be posting never-before-seen fanart and fanfiction for your enjoyment. Don’t forget to check in at the PMO and support them then!
Two Weeks to Launch Day!
We’re only two weeks away from the launch of the Pink Moon Observatory! The PMO team has been hard at work behind the scenes, rigorously testing the site and squashing bugs wherever we find them. On 1 April, the PMO will officially open to the SessKag community for our third and final beta test. As you use the site, you’ll also be contributing to the project by helping us identify issues and errors so we can optimise the PMO. The Pink Moon Observatory is a labor of love by SessKag fans for other SessKag fans, and will keep improving over time with the help of everyone in the fandom 💗

Join us for our third week of launch celebrations over at the PMO! This week, we have the artist @wulfintheforest and writers @wbficaholic and @ixaix who’ll be sharing their talents with the rest of the SessKag community. Drop by the PMO on Friday to support their hard work!
Launch Month Event: 22 April
This week marks the fourth week of our PMO launch celebrations! We hope you’ve been enjoying all the new launch month content so far! This Friday, we have artist @vixeria, along with writers @chierafied and @wulfintheforest bringing you even more SessKag works exclusive to the PMO.
