Poor Sears, they always get pranked by Joel. Joel always picks on Sears’ “big head” to the point of calling it “circus tent”. Because they are good friends, Sears just endures through the pranks like they always do, with a chastising demeanour and a ton of patience. Spam just gets drag’d to the pranks by virtue of his candid self, or sometimes he’s also the victim of the pranks too. Anyhow, Joel is not a bad person, it’s just that Pink Addisons are known in my AU for being lively and somewhat cheeky, and Joel is no exception (well, barring the moments when he gets depressed when family matters starts to mortify him). Joel in a sense has more moxie than Sears and has helped them out in countless occasions, especially during Sears’ first days at the company. That’s why they are besties and why Sears tolerates his raillery with lots of patience.
Also if you wonder, the strange bug over Joel's shoulder is a type of Darkner called a tape-spider, which doubles as a pin-cushion too. Its name is Cuscinetto and all of Joel's relatives has one (customized to their owners' style) since his family has an important brand in fashion design and these bugs helps them a ton (though Joel fled that life to live something else far from the pressure of his family, he still works doing clothing and accessories ads, along with sports and fitness ones).
