It’s about Shevon Valarta , a homeschooled boy who returns to normal school after befriending a group of students who are regulars at his family’s carinderia. With their friendship, he finds the courage to step out of his comfort zone.

The series will follow Shevon navigating life as we also get a look in the other perspectives of the other kids that show different aspects of pinoy life

On this day, July 16, 2025, IV of Spades has reunited.

After 7 years since Unique left the band to pursue his own music, and 5 years since their hiatus to pusue their own solo careers, IV of Spades came back with a beautiful ballad today.

I can't say I didn't see this coming. With Unique hanging out with Zild and Blaster more over the years, I knew that eventually, they'll have a come back. I just didn't expect it to be today. In a random Wednesday in July.

The harmonies of Zild and Unique's voices in a call-and-response style in the choruses and the second verse, the lyrics penned by the boys, and the melodies and beat made me feel like this is going to be a more mature sound of IVOS. Aura is just the beginning of it. Overall, the song is beautiful. I feel like I can go to sleep to this becauss it felt like a lullaby, like them saying, "we're finally here."

I'm excited how they'll mesh their styles this time. I hope the past never repeats itself because their styles would sound better if they let each other shine. I know that they will handle this new rebrand in a much better way, and I'm here for it. For all of it. I'm excited to witness the new IV Of Spades.

To Blaster, Zild, Unique, and Badjao, I never gave up. I'm here for all of it. So, bring it.

IV of Spades is releasing banger after banger!

Ah! I love how they all shine in the two new singles they released. The band released the song and mv for "Nanaman" and Blaster's lyricsm and vocals are highlighted in this one. Out of all of them, I'm quite biased when I say Blaster's my favorite vocalist even when they were a trio.

The production is beautiful, and it's weirdly so Blaster! The song sounds like his own songs during his solo. I mean, come on. Honestly, this more replayable for me since I like how the drums, guitars, and bass sound (i am a sucker for Zild's basslines!!)

I think I'm gonna be right when I said that the band will let each of them shine through each song they release. They'll mesh their styles, maybe lean a little bit to how they sounded before, but so far, with "Aura" showcasing Zild and Unique's styles, and "Nanaman" sounding like Blaster, we're on a roll with this new era.

Lmao i don't watch PBB much but this Collab edition's Big Winner was predictable.... Almost. I thought RaWi (Ralph De Leon and Will Ashley) or CharEs (Charlie Fleming and Esnyr) would win this one... Turns out, BreKa (Brent Manalo and Mika Salamanca) won!

The public really loved the genuine friendship and collaboration between these two stars. I admit I enjoyed it, too. Healthy and matured, always looking out for each other, and even though they are weak when it comes to tasks, they showed what a true collab duo should be.

Congrats to them!

Zild Benitez and His Craft: An Experience

There's always something magical about seeing your favorite artist live.

After 5 years, I finally found myself in a crowd, cheering and singing along with Zild. He has been one of my favorite artists ever since 2017, when he was still a member of IV of Spades, one of the OPM bands that emerged during that year. The band produced songs such as Ilaw Sa Daan, Hey, Barbara!, and Mundo. Before, the band consisted of Zild (bass guitar), Blaster (lead guitar), Badjao (drums), and Unique (vocals and guitar).

A fallout in 2018 (?) led to Unique leaving the band to pursue a solo career and the three remaining members to continue as a trio and taking turns on vocals. They wrote songs like Come Inside of My Heart, Dulo ng Hangganan, and Bata, Dahan-dahan!

Last 2021, they broke off as a band to work on their solo careers, making them shine in their own genre of music. Zild focused on Alt Rock/Pop/Maximalist type of music, expressing his emotions, thoughts, and experiences in his 4 officially released studio albums.

Today, I watched him perform with the same energy he had when he and his bandmates went on tour for their first-ever concert; he was replicating Gerard Way's way of performing on stage, a little all over the place, and yet so artistically on brand for him. He performed his popular songs namely Medisina, Dasal/Kasal, Kyusi, Isang Anghel, Lia, Superpower, Segurista, Dekada 70, and Lumang Kanta, all conveying messages of love and pain, politics, friendships, and inner thoughts.

Out of the four, Zild and Unique have utilized their solo careers into a passion project where they can express their true thoughts and emotions that they never conveyed while in the band.

To see and hear Zild perform live was a dream come true. He was energetic and chaotic, yet very passionate about his craft. He is always so grateful for the people who listen to his music, always acknowledging that our presence tonight is the highlight of his gig/concert. I love how he spoke so highly of our city and how he had always loved performing here (I assumed that he and the other IVOS members loved our city, performing here three times, and being on the first leg of their album tour before). Hearing his songs live was a real treat, and I'm glad I was able to witness it with my s/o.

I love you, Zild Benitez. I hope this reaches you.
