It's WIP Wednesday, time for a little accountability, sharing your work, and getting a kick in the pants.
• In a reblog (or new post w/ rules attached), post up to five (5) filenames of your WIPs; not titles, file names.
• Post a snippet from one of them. Snippet must be words you wrote in the last 7 days. We're posting progress here. If you haven't made any, go make some and come back to post.
• After you've posted, people can send you an ask with one of your file names. You must then write 3 sentences in that file. If the filename is one you can't share from (for example, an event fic), write 3 sentences on it anyway, and then 3 more on another to share.
• That's it! You can invite others to join in, or just post. I'II be searching the reblogs to find people to send asks to!
If you see someone posting a WIP Wednesday Game snippet, send them an ask! Make them write.
If you're reading this, you're invited!
Here are my WIP Projects on offer for this week:
There were only a handful of other players from the team in the lounge, but all eyes were on Andrew. His reputation from college followed him throughout his five years in the professional league.
Neil's bag finally slips and lands on the floor with a dull thud. “What the fuck?” Eyes whip around to him.
Andrew’s hazel eyes were darker in the interior lights of the lounge room. More brown than gold.
The coach pointed his clipboard at Neil. “Not a word, Josten.”
Ignoring that statement Neil looked at Andrew, opening his mouth ready to speak again when his vision was blocked by a thick shoulder and red hair.
Jodie sets a hand on Neil’s bicep pushing just slightly. “Let's go get changed out, yeah?”
Mind running too fast to process anything else, Neil nodded, following the other man into the locker room. Belatedly he realizes he didn't grab his bag from the floor before Jodie holds it out.
“You look like you've been through war.” Jodie hums as Neil takes his sports bag.
Neil's fingers wrap around the fabric strap. “What?”
Jodie points his thumb back towards the door. “Minyard being here sure surprised you, huh? Coach didn't tell you?”
