PIO cards no more exist as Indian government has ordered for the cancellation of this immigration service.
PIO and OCI cards provide convenience in traveling to India. But the government has cancelled PIO card issuance now. Those issued after January 9, 2015 are cancelled. But the ones who have got it before this date can enjoy its lifetime validity. A stamp can be put on it for seeking advantage of this immigration service.
