gouhhhhh thank you so much for answering all the steamworld asks you get this is so huge to me..... steamworld is my special interest and i am very autistic about the series so any extra info i get (canon or not) is the highlight of my day. do you have any headcanons or extra info for piper, armilly, or billy :3 ooh or perhaps crowbar or sola.... (i'm billy's #1 fan he's literally my son i love billy)

Here's some personal takes as well as random trivia.
Piper As some know, was drawn as a male character first then evolved into her current design. The male model was somewhat repurposed into one of the shop keepers (by me!). I've seen takes that this makes Piper trans, and at least in my personal headcanon those takes are dope as hell and also true. Also, I think she's robo-gay
Armilly I love her, for real. One of my favourite things I did on steamworld was draw a lot of card art for steamworld quest. And a lot of Armilly's cards have her doing cool poses and stuff, those were a lot of fun. I bet she practices cool poses in front of the mirror
Billy You have great taste, Billy is basically the dev team's favourite character. "I blub you all", his final line in Heist 1, was quoted A LOT Crowbar Honestly, also one of my faves. I loooove creating characters that have gremlin energy. Writing her mission banter was a lot of fun
Sola We had a lot of fun writing her lines to create an subtext layer of her knowing more than the others, but having a hard time being understood. As the story developed, we often went back to go through her lines and add more mysterious stuff that hinted at what was to come
