animes — she particularly loves the ones with beautifully detailed illustrative styles, like studio ghibli films. the artistry and skill that goes into every frame fascinates her.
spending time with friends — as uninterested piper is in relationships, she deeply treasures her friends. since she’s always been a little bit of an outsider in ballet due to her low income status, she’s glad to have found a group she truly fits into.
pastels —she adores all the soft shades of pink and blue that remind her of spring, and her favourite fruits.
baking — her mother is a baker, so piper enjoys baking with her, and likes to (try) recreate the delicious things she sees in animes.
ballet — as she’s younger and less competitive than her friends, she doesn’t experience to the same degree the physical + emotional turmoil that intense ambition brings. so, ballet is always a source of happiness for her, one which she can draw strength and independence from, creating beautiful art at the same time.
