It’s been a while since I’ve been on tumblr, so here’s an update! Art of a new Dungeons and Dragons character I’ll be using in a friend’s pirate themed campaign! Digital work is still a WIP!

I will also say I’ve been super busy with midterms, my Sims 3 project I’m doing, and now getting into my finals (since us art students have to spend weeks on them). Hopefully by winter break I will be a bit more free! But I will be making a homemade Christmas gift for someone special, so that may take some time too!

D&D Character Idea:

(A/N: All of this is Hypothetical. I was watching D20’s Fantasy High and got inspired!)

Ok hear me out.

I want to build a Witchy Elven Pirate Bard.

I’m imagining Davey Jones, The Flying Dutchman, Jack Sparrow, and other Ghostly pirates.

But mine would be a Half-Elf who multi-classes as a Swashbuckler, Bard, and Sorcerer.

I’m picturing a young, goth vibes Pirate with a Pan Flute or something similar, who’s misunderstood for exploring the strange magics of the Sea and Stars. But around their party they’re a goofball who sings Sea Shanties and blabbers about Tarot cards.

Do you guys have any other ideas? Is this idea strange?

Alright then, Theddix: Living Room, Bedroom (my favorite kind of questions for adventurers who probably have way too many practical concerns)

How does the character spend weekends?Theddix’s best way to wind down is socially. He’ll find a good tavern, perform a bit, get the crowd going, get paid, drink and hopefully find someone attractive and entertaining to spend the night with.

What kind of movies does the character watch?Theddix would be into action flicks and comedy movies if they existed. Explosions and good wit

What do they do with friends?Does ravaging the high seas count? His best friends are the pirate crew he runs with. When they’re not working there’s singing drinking and merriment, telling tall tales of what they’ll do with their plundered booty

What’s their favourite pasttime?Probably spending time with people he likes, be it people he knows or amicable/interesting strangers. I’d say he’s a people-watcher but he likes to interact and get in there himself

What’s their favourite TV show/Film?I have a feeling he’d find the Pirates of Penzance

How does this character sleep? (Position, sleeping habits, bedtime routines) Theddix can sleep just about anywhere. He’s like a cat and will sprawl in a way that shouldn’t be comfortable but apparently is

What are their pyjamas like? If anything it’s a loose shirt or nothing

What do they dream about usually? Theddix has weird nonsensical dreams mostly, how’d that Tuna get there?

How neat/tidy is this character? He has an order to his stuff, but there’s a lot of chaos to it

How affectionate is this character?He’s quite affectionate with his lovers, likes cudding and tends to be dashing with strangers he finds attractive, kissing the hand that kind of thing
