brooke washed up in africa and spent years as a treasure hunter, until she turned 15, where she bumped into james after years of believing each other to be dead.
robin, james’ later husband, was directly involved in the process that ended up destroying james’ ship and killing half of his family. centures later, even after it being confirmed it wasn’t robins direct fault, robin hasn’t forgiven himself.
robin and james are, to date, the most complicated and difficult pair to get together. they took the longest to date and have had the most falling outs and complications since the franchise started. despite this, they are possibly the strongest couple, and remain with each other well into 3.
after death, robin and james re-married and added athena into their marriage. although not an “active” couple, they are the first confirmed poly couple.
james and robin, out of every influential family in 2, were the only ones chosen to continue on as early-stage holograms. they are the first holograms to date, and while any deceased friend can replace them as holograms, they were legally chosen to continue on after death.
the most common conspiracy theory regarding 2 generation morgans is that the life-changing ship crash was all a hoax, and athena and her son have been alive all this time. james and brooke have aggressively denied this.
james was directly responsible for the death of robin’s father, with the permission of robin, due to a lifetime of unimaginable abuse.
james and robin reportedly adopted a homeless child, although no information beyond that has been found. the two both confirm that it did happen.
when rose and marlow met, rose was on the run from her family at the castle and lied, saying she was a rich girl travelling. marlow, being long-term homeless at the time, believed her, and let her stay with her during a rainstorm, where they got to know each other.
marx was marlow’s first legitimate invention, that she nearly died of starvation, infection and exhaustion to successfully create. it’s confirmed that his heart, or what he was built off of, is a radio. even in his current model, centuries later, the original radio remains the exact same.
when marlow passed, marx spent an unrecorded amount of time (rumored a year or two) nearly comatose, playing the girl’s favorite songs through his radio on repeat.
marlow and rose, with their combined engineering talents, are considered “the mothers of all modern technology”.in 3, marx and cherry are “the parents of the modern android”, and handle all political affairs in the creation and uses of non-sentient robotics. they have also personally raised countless homeless children, in memory of marlow.
marlow and rose did have children together - their sperm donor became a very close friend of theirs and the family. rose was the one who carried any and all children in their line.
marlows parents, although assumed dead, were later discovered alive when they visited the castle after she had become queen. upon recognizing their daughter - who was left by her sick and dying mother on a church doorstep - as the new queen of england, they moved in to the castle to stay with her.
roses’ parents were both assassinated, after a cruel and somewhat heartless time in power. despite being evil people politically, they were very loving to her. they were overprotective and very busy, so they rarely had time for her- meaning robin, her personal guard at the time, became a father figure. he continued this way until their deaths, and even beyond.
rose and marlow, upon marriage, created the unbreakable treaty and almost join of england and france. centuries later, in 3, this friendship has remained strong, as the rulers of england and france have become and stayed friends in every single generation.
robin, during the legendary siege of the castle where the first assassination attempt of the royals were made, nearly killed his soon-to-be step-son. will’s assassin guild was executing the attack, and while robin single-handedly saved the castle, he also killed hundreds of the assassins, including many of will’s friends and possibly family.
emily, more commonly known as “captain”, did not know she was a morgan until meeting james. her entire life, she was known as “captain kessinger”. her goal, ironically, was to dethrone the morgans with her own name.
lee (emily) met alexia for the first time when accepting her onto her ship to travel a while. after only having a sexual relationship, they soon fell in love, where the iconic “meet in germany” promise was made (and broken).
before they even met each other, alexia had birth to chloe, and gave her to an orphanage. she didn’t know the father well and wasn’t ready to have a child. superfans & conspiracy theorists often point out the smiliarites between chloe’s introduction to the family and theo’s.
it’s unknown if lee and alexia had any children together, as rose and marlow did, but it’s speculated that they did.
marx later married an undercover android from japan named cherry. cherry was the owner of a small fishing shop, close to the morgan’s favorite shipping dock. she was actually influential in the reuniting of james and brooke, after letting brooke stay a few days with her in the shop that james later visited.
james and cherry were originally intended to be love interests - and robin was supposed to be marx’s love interest.
a very common conspiracy theory, back in the days of their creation, is that marx and cherry were humans all along, pretending to be androids. whether this was to become more popular, or to make queen marlow (who was doubted for her lack of experience) look better, is unknown. the conspiracy theory still exists in 3, despite the fact cherry and marx are fully functional and haven’t aged a day, centuries later.
(3) jake, despite being of morgan descent, had a very rocky start in life. for almost all of his adult life, he lived on earth as a bounty hunter/hit-man. he only ventured into space after meeting captain atlas, who had recently been fired. the two illegally went into space together, with separate motives.
jake’s son, jason, was around 7-9 years old when introduced. jake had an ex wife, whom divorced him for a richer and more stable man, due to jake’s low-paying and dangerous occupation. despite being in love, jake agreed to split the family. jason was introduced after the sudden and still unexplained death of his mother and abandonment of his step-father, whom jake never met.
zanith and desiree were born very close together, but their brother codix is years younger.
zanith and desiree were raised together as twins, while codix had an unusual fate - he was kidnapped as a young child, before being announced to the public. the triplets’ parents, grief-stricken and in denial, refused to tell zanith and desiree that their younger brother ever existed. codix, to this day, doesn’t know of his original background or family.
desiree, throughout her life, has never wanted to be royal. her brother’s viewpoint is unknown, although after their parents sudden and untimely death during the war, zanith quickly became king and not-so-smoothly settled into the position. now, almost half a year later, he has settled more easily.
due to the fact zanith has 3 boyfriends (not counting himself), upon their marriage, there will be 4 lancaster kings actively in rule. 8 lancasters in rule alltogether, counting desiree’s marriage to alyssa and codix romance with leo on earth.
zanith, being only 21 at the time of becoming king and not being ready, gained much assistance from atlas. due to her help in the war, and her personal relationship with zanith, he promoted her from newly re-hired pilot to high admiral. originally, she was only high admiral in lancaster affairs, but as the war spun out of control, they both agreed she was allowed more control. during the treaty, zanith has taken almost all control on royal affairs, but he and atlas remain good friends.
atlas, despite never showing any interest in having kids, readily agreed to become jason’s step-mother and be the mother figure to alyssa, leah, zanith and by extension, desiree.
atlas was originally a british pilot, but she was fired after shooting down and destroying an unmarked but completely harmless ship. it’s later revealed that she shot it it down because it was the ship of a family that her own family had a blood feud with - this later sparked the early stages of the war, where atlas shooting that ship down held the war off by months.
upon zanith’s temporary death and therefore unwilling dethronement, desiree was too panicked and grief-stricken to become queen in his place. alyssa, being her partner at the time, insisted that they do it together. alyssa was only a military private, but was more than ready to become queen and help desiree. this never happened, due to desiree being too unstable. for a period of time, atlas was the (unnamed) surrogate queen.
robin, throughout generations and generations of lancasters, has acted as their guide and mentor for the first few years of ruling, even when unneeded.
robin and james were often holographic babysitters to zanith and desiree when they were children. it’s unknown, but doubted, that they had any knowledge of codix, the lost sibling, ever existing.
juan, reportedly, doesnt like space. this is theorized to be because of his immortality - if he were to be lost in space, he wouldn’t die, and would be lost probably forever. it’s also rumored it’s because he’s so old, and is just getting tired of it all.
the second sentient android to ever exist, technically, is the ‘Black Knight’. he is only semi-sentient, and cherry and marx have yet to formally decide if it counts. the third, technical, sentient android would be james in his new robot vessel - but it hasn’t been counted, seeing as his consciousness existed prior to becoming an android.
captain isaac red is one of the first mech captains to join the lancaster team, and to date, the most influential and talented. he was hired during dire times, and used to be a close family friend of the twin’s parents.
marlow, in the afterlife, is a huge fan of leah, the White Knight. leah has become a worldwide hero, after the fall of the eiiffel tower and her limitless defense of france. she now has a statue of her mech suit underneath the very same tower, and in the same garden in london and france where statues of marlow and the other royals reside. she is the first new statue to be added to said royal gardens in many, many decades.
vince, zanith’s boyfriend, is the ‘brother’ of leah. vince has been homeless his whole life, and he met leah when she ran away from home and needed help. her whole life, leah has had a dangerous medical problem that requires regular medication. vince supplied this medication for around a year until leah left him. she earned the nickname “tabs”, one that vince still uses for her now, after she beat her illness and became the White Knight.
the White Knight and Black Knight had been mortal enemies since the Black knight’s creation. Black was made with the sole purpose to combat White, and after his creator was killed, Black revealed his sentience to White and cherry while awaiting his execution. in a moment of empathy and remorse, White cancelled the execution to be replaced with a process of reprogramming Black. the two have been fighting side by side because of White’s mercy.
Black is originally responsbile for an early and temporary death of isaac red, leah’s boyfriend. although Black hasn’t exactly been “forgiven”, leah has just chosen not to speak of it.
grey is one of the only direct successors to will and brooke morgan, who started the assassin branch of the morgan family line. he has yet to mention or confirm anything about this, but does say there’s no way he isn’t, and looks up to the two as parents and role models.
will and brooke, during their time, created lots of influential technology used for assassins. one of the more recent inventions, made by a special team, is a power glove that gives the wearer a power similar to levitation or “the force”. it’s a popular rumor that, because of grey’s direct connection to the original pair, he has this power without ever needing the use of the glove. although evidence shows otherwise, grey denies all mention of having this ability.
desiree and alyssa were very similar to marlow and rose, in the sense that one was royalty and the other was not. they also fell in love fast and hard, and were engaged very soon after their relationship started. desiree, however, still doesn’t want to follow in her ancestors in becoming queens.
juan has appeared multiple times in a bar only for zanith and no morgan, apparently, because “he just likes him”. he also gives the same treatment to james, robin, marx and cherry, but nobody else who isn’t a morgan. it’s unknown if zanith has realized this.
nora had an android of herself made, so she could interact with the 3 generation, but only used it a few times before quickly getting bored.
