As a family we've adopted so many dogs over the years, but this one was the one that got to me. I had just started my business. I could barely care for myself as I was recovering from a spinal cord injury and was finally discovering freedom again. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ A little rascal walked into our yard and freshly "barked" at me. Filled with fleas, thicks and dehydrated he taught love, friendship, compassion and commitment. Just one year he stayed with me before he passed with thick disease, but his memory is set. It has awakened the man in me.
