my character singing to yours
They promised each other they would hang out together. Jennie wouldn’t have thought it would actually have happened like this. She truly believed the older woman when she said she was a lot of fun, but never in her whole life she had so much fun partying. Her savior was the kind of unstoppable beast party and the younger wasn’t really the type to actually stop someone to have fun.
But there they were now, legs tangled together on the couch of Jennie’s dorms, cackling like crazy both probably had drunk a bit too much and every laughter made their heads spin. “I thought I was a strong drinker, but damn, woman.” Jennie laughed before ending her sentence. “You’re quite the shit as well.” Stupid drinking games. The other only snickered lowly, pinching Jennie’s calf. She squealed a bit, trying to push away her leg but the older kept it on place, patting it. A calm silence took place between the both of them before the younger finally started to cackle.
"What ?" Still laughing, the trainee only shook her head. The other kicked her gently. "Come on, tell me." After a couple of chuckle, Jennie finally let out. "I’m just remembering the face of the man who tried to flirt a bit too much with you when you nearly broke his bone." The two girls laughed at the memory. They had been both hit on but since it was a girls’ night, none of them had really been in the mood to flirt with anyone. When their laughter died, Jennie closed her eyes. She felt her hero moving and suddenly, a head was against her warm stomach. A bit surprised of the hug despite the alcohol running in her blood, Jennie hesitatingly slipped her fingers into the other’s hair. Real hair, not the blonde wig her friend had the first time they met. "You should sing me to sleep."
Jennie hummed lightly, not really understanding what she was asked to since she was slowly falling asleep. “Little one, sing me something.” The older insisted. Whining, the trainee shook her head. She only got a pinch at the sensitive skin of her ribs. “Alright, alright !” She squealed. “What do you wanna hear ?” She felt her savior shrugging against her and she sighed. After a moment of silence, she finally started to sing.
"I wanna take you somewhere so you know I careBut it’s so cold and I don’t know whereI brought you daffodils in a pretty stringBut they won’t flower like they did last spring.”
