~Doomed & Stoned Debuts~

Greek stoner-doom tribe SADHUS, THE SMOKING COMMUNITY are back and more raucous than ever with a third LP on the way by mid-month.
Hailing from the sunny port city of Piraeus in the greater Athens area, 'Illegal Sludge' (2023) is the band's first LP since 2018's Big Fish, and it is indeed a riot. Damning doom metal riffs, punchy percussion, and whiskey-soaked roars will really get your blood pumping.
Today, we get a listen to the album's first single and music video, "Woodman," an up-tempo punk-sludge number set to the backdrop of a barbeque that becomes an outlet for a lot of pent up aggression. Note that it is the shortest song on the new record, with most tracks averaging five-minutes in length, so there's plenty here to get you doomed and stoned.
