"There are many options for what can be used inside the tire; heavyweight tubes, tire balls, foam inserts (mousse), and products like the tubliss system. While all have their points of performance, each has trade-off features. With heavyweight tubes, mass is the biggest disadvantage, with lightweight tubes durability is the sacrifice. With mousse, cost and product lifespan are the major points, while fitting is also challenging. Off-road tires are manufactured as tube type units and do not have an air seal interliner to be run tube less. It's important to be sure the rim is approved for the tire size you are considering. In general, the difference between a 110 and 120 rear tire is the crown radius or shape. 110's tend to have a rounder profile for a more nimble and better handling product, while the 120's tend to have a flatter profile for more footprint and straight line drive. "Off-Road tires are labeled and referred to by soil application, not rubber compound. A soft (Mid Soft) tire is intended for loose soil conditions of intermediate to soft soil, whereas a hard (Mid Hard) tire is intended for packed base soil conditions of intermediate to hard soil.
