Pirou

Pirou is the owner of the Gerudo Canyon Stable, but he's likely more well known for his rushroom side quest.

Anyone who has tried to 100% Breath of the Wild knows this side quest.

Pirou is addicted to rushrooms. He's eaten them every day.

So he has a canonical age of 60 in this game!

He wants us to collect 55 rushrooms to give him.

Rushrooms only grow on vertical surfaces, so you'll only find them by climbing on mountains. It took me a very long time to collect all of them.

You get a diamond for being his dealer, so at least his stable business seems lucrative.

In Tears of the Kingdom, Gerudo Canyon Stable had to close due to the intense temperature changed and the giant sandstorm in Gerudo Desert deterring customers. So Pirou has moved to DigDogg Suspension Bridge and opened a Mini-Stable.

Other previous employees got transferred around.

Pirou doesn't mention rushrooms, but he still seems like he's doing well (and not retiring anytime soon).

Two things about this string of dialogue: first, Pirou must be sixty years old, and second, the way he talks about rushrooms makes them sound like drugs. Perhaps they could be addicting if not used in moderation, which is actually the case with a lot of things...
