Flutterig in the wind
//So, I wrote this because I need my dear family to cheer up. It's not the best I've wrotten but I've been wanting to do something with that song since forever
Despite how much he enjoyed playing with kids, Sinbad wasn't ready to be a father. Especially not at age fifteen, especially not with a child that was barely a couple of years younger than him. He wanted to be more like a big brother for the little child with white-hair that he could swear looked to be about seven despite his real age, but the kid knew only how to kill. He had to make sure he ate, he bathed, he didn't wondered and got into troubles, because the kid knew no wrong from right.
When Masrur joined, he thought he'd go insane. He was a great kid, loyal as he can be, but he was as strong as five men and so it was extremely hard to keep up with him, and Sinbad hated the feeling of being weak.
The only way to keep them crowded together was in the peice of field that he'd planned to turn into the courtyard of his new crazy proyect. He could gather them there and let them play under his watch, until Sharrkan and Yamuraiha ended up in the ground wrestling and Masrur destroyed another piece of wall by accident. The only relief he had was that Ja'far had finally learnt how to behave like a real diplomatic and could keep an eye on them as well as he managed the incredible ability of multitasking.
By the end of the day, half the construction was destroyed, half the bushes he'd plant during the morning torn appart, but the screams had quietened. The sunset breeze under the big old tree was nice, and so was the song he'd learnt. It all started with a little hum, because Sinbad liked to remember the song his mother used to sing to him when she was strong enough, and soon, Pisti had joined. She had a beautiful voice, just like everybody in Artemuya he'd ever met.
When the season spins around and around,
Ja'far was a little bit skeptical but as soon as Sharrkan punched his arm he had to join as well. Yamuraiha's voice was soft but too low, and Masrur's grunts were strange but pleasant.
Please keep all of our ties close where they can be found
"Hey Sin?" Ja'far asked when most of them had already fallen asleep, and Hinahoho's impressive physique had turned out to be a very pleasant pillow.
"Yes, Jaf?" he hated being called like that, he could see it by the way his nose still wrinkled, but Sinbad just let out a chuckle.
"We're going to be fine...right? I mean, with things being as they are...and this crazy idea you have about Sindria..."
Sinbad let out another chuckle and caressed Pisti's hair slightly when her head went to rest on his lap "Of course Jaf, didn't I tell you? This is just the beginning of our story!" he playfully punched the younger boy's back and Ja'far almost fell forward on Masrur's face.
Tightly, tightly you must hold them near
Or else they’ll disappear
"We're gonna be fine..."
