I’ve been a huge fan of Lynx Defense and their products since probably 2017-2018 if memory serves me correctly. Lynx Defense is a manufacturer and innovator of high quality firearm range bag and accessories that’s based right here in North Carolina. Because of this, the materials used can be scrutinized immensely and quality control be strictly adhered to in order to produce arguably the finest rifle and pistol bags on the market today.
As a long time customer I’ve seen the product line evolve. From the early days there were mostly tactical style rifle bags with pouches and straps that screamed: “Hey there’s a rifle inside!” to some of the more recent offerings like the Gigabyte which are very discreet in nature as well as the solo bag and new Russian themed AK rifle bags. Pistol bags, which I have a very old original design of, used to come in only one size but now there are various sized pistol bags to fit your particular needs and use case. On top of that, the pistol bags offer additional dividers and accessories to better tailor them to what items you have a need to carry and protect when travelling to and from the range. Along with most every one of these different rifle and pistol bags comes a number of color and material options as well as some customizable options for the most color coordinated among us. Truly there’s an option for everyone in need of proper protection for their firearms and gear.
Some of the newer products that Lynx defense has introduced have me thinking, why didn’t I think of that? They recently introduced a packable battery case to store your CR123 style batteries close by for those range events. Something so simple, but so useful, it fits into any pouch in any of the range bags I own and is there just ready to go if and when you need to swap out a battery for your weapon light or other accessory using that style of battery. Another game changing accessory that Lynx Defense recently introduced is their ear pro pouch. The ear pro pouch is a pouch designed to stow away your hearing protection when not in use. It easily attaches to any of your range bags by way of an included clip attachment so that you don’t lose it and it’s just where you need it. These pouches are small enough to stay out of the way but also have just enough room to put a couple other small items as well. I’ve found that my shot timer fits in there as well.
