This toucan lamp that i got for christmas when i was like 3?? i’ve used it my whole life and even brought it with me to scotland!

i mean i really am an open book if u follow me on tumblr and even moreso on twitter you’ve probably seen the same facts about me 15 times over 

i guess one thing i’ve not had an opportunity to tell yet bc it’s recent is that @yearningcurve​ and I are going to get married next year when they move to Scotland so! theres something have it lmao

maybe my glasses? they’re a very nice design, i get a lot of compliments on them. and well. i do wear them everyday. since i need them to see. lmao

What’s the bravest you’ve ever felt?

this may not be much but honestly I feel like my moving to scotland was pretty brave like? i barely had any money, didn’t even have my parents approval, had never been in the UK or spoken english out loud, didn’t know whether I’d be able to find a job or pursue my transition? I didn’t feel brave on the moment, but looking back, I’m really proud ok 

I guess feeling brave on the moment was that time I borrowed a car from my parents telling them I’d just be driving to the next city with friends when in reality I drove alone to Belgium, 3 hours and back……… if I’d crashed or whatever I could have died or been in serious trouble with my parents, but everything went fine! \o/ 

What’s something you wish you were capable of?

I wish I could understand my brain and put words on my emotions and express them clearly and concisely without being afraid of how people are going to react or being concerned with whether or not my emotions are like……appropriate or if i’m allowed to have them at all.

fun linguistic fact I thought you'd maybe enjoy, actually the dots in your name aren't umlauts! umlauts only refer to this phenoma that happens in germanic languages where the dots signifiy a vowel mutation (so change in how it's pronounced over time) and if I'm not mistaken, in your name the dots should be called tremas or diaeresis bc their function is to separate, so that you know that you have to pronounce the digraph as two separate sounds! I mean everyone still calls them umlaut but yeah

that is indeed interesting, i thought umlaut was the german word for tréma and that english used the german words for it.
