I went to the Terry Pratchett HisWorld exhibition in Salisbury yesterday (and couldn't resist the Pitt-Rivers archaeology deerstalker, or the opportunity to see the Amesbury Archer). I miss him so much, but seeing the artwork (I took many more photos than these) and objects with his notes on them was amazing. Mind how you go.

The more TMA05 ("What is the most appropriate way to display the Benin 'bronzes'?") is encouraging me to consider western institutions' treatment of the artefacts we 'acquired' from Africa during the Colonial Era, the more I regret marching into the Pitt-Rivers Museum, Oxford, to "oo" and "ahh" over these shrunken heads...
