A hidden Akillerpion (hospital), known simply as The Pitt, secretly takes care of various ailments and emergencies pertaining to troll life. Having to keep on the down low they lack any funding and act purely independently leading to a horrifically stressful work life balance. However with increasing members they have managed to keep a somewhat stable front all the while evading political detection (I'm flying by the seat of my pants, okay).

They utilize an uncommon system (at least to trolls) when it comes to leadership, focusing on experience rather than bloodcaste. Leaders are Servitors and students are Revenants, with additional help coming from Inoculates who provide personal care. Because they do not follow the castesystem the akillerpion is highly illegal and at threat of annihilation. However underground communities have kept it alive and active.

Their current Lead Servitor is Robby, an older indigo with a lot of experience as well as a rough around the edges personality. Taught and raised by a jade who chose to save him despite failing his trials, Robby learned to care for others first hand. The jade was culled but their teachings lived on through Robby. However he still displays a subconsciously loyalty to the castesystem, even if unintended. His fellow Servitors include his close ally, a bronze blood named Abbot, and their newest addition, a gold blood named Baran. Abbot formerly fought in the Condensce’s army, losing his leg and having to rely on his wits after being left for dead. He managed decently well and encountered Robby while in hiding. Baran was also part of the army, fueling ships with her psionics until she ran out of power and was discarded. She is partially void rotted due to this and is actively working on a treatment. Due to her slightly imperialistic outlook Robby isn't that fond of her but Abbot believes she has changed.

The Inoculates include a jade blood named Dana and an olive blood named Emma. Dana is close to Robby's age, being raised by the same jade which cared for him. She has a similar rough personality but is externally more hopeful than Robby, using this facade to moderate him as his moirail. Emma is an olive who struggled to survive after her neighborhood was targeted and destroyed. Her bleeding heart of a personality brought her to discover The Pitt and join them under Dana’s tutelage. Despite the loss of both her hive and lusus Emma tries to remain positive.

Revenants all range in social power, with the eldest being held in the highest regard. Elder Revenants include Mohan the jade, Cassie the rust, and Langdon the cerulean. Mohan is a jade through and through, with a natural sense of care and a deep passion for grubs, she spent several sweeps in the brooding caverns tending to the Mother Grub. She sought out The Pitt after splitting from her jade colony, wanting to help a wider array of trolls, but now struggles under the increasingly dangerous environment and unsolicited heckling from her colony. Cassie is a rust blood with a troubled past, suffering by on scraps for most of her life. Where others may have turned apathetic she became empathetic and sought change for trolls like her. She has specific experience with the survivors of cullings and often works with lowblood patients by caring for them at their hives. Langdon is a reformed cerulean formerly known for his strict following of the castesystem and violence against lowbloods. He seeks to change his past but many have not forgotten nor forgiven his behavior. He is on a constant uphill battle to not scare nor anger lowblooded patients and is barred from using his mind control unless absolutely necessary. Intermediate Revenants include Trinity the olive, Dennis the bronze, and Mel the teal. Trinity is a troubled olive whose lusus wreaked havoc in her life, leading her to become tough and combative. She has a past with Langdon and has not forgiven him for it, leading to a lot of tension between the pair. She is moirails with Dennis, a former cattlebeast tamer who she rescued after his hive was destroyed. Dennis struggles to advocate for himself and is often bossed around by highbloods. Him and Trinity live together and he feels deeply indebted to her. Mel is a busy teal with a tight moirailligence to a fellow teal named Becca. The two consider each other family, sharing a hive and lusus. However Mel hasn’t had much life outside of work and has been known to be rather eccentric. The Young Revenants include Joy the purple, James the indigo, and Javadi the violet. Joy found herself guided by her church to pursue an underground community of rebels who threatened Alternia’s natural order. However she found herself swayed by their rhetoric and began studying under the Servitors. She is known to have incredible memory that she claims is due to chucklevoodoo magic (it's not, she just has naturally good memory). James is a snooty caste driven indigo who was originally rescued by The Pitt but then kept captive after he threatened to expose their operation to the drones. After some time he began learning their ideology and, while still on the fence, is no longer an imminent threat. He's even begun helping Cassie on her trips to patients. Lastly, Javadi is an oddity amongst The Pitt. A sea-dwelling violet blood, she is inherently royal and by all means should demolish this pitiful caste defying place but a streak of youthful rebellion has inspired her otherwise. In a bid to defy her politically obsessed lusus, Javadi has welcomed the rebel ideology and sees it as a chance to improve troll society. While many fail to trust her she aims to prove herself to The Pitt and gain their faith.

More Pittstuck rambling which totally isn't just a way to talk about my shipping preferences

(Brief rundown if you don't know homestuck stuff: matesprites are akin to romantic relationships, moirails are akin to platonic soulmates, kismesis are akin to enemies who fuck, and auspitice is akin to third wheeling, for lack of a better descriptor. It goes beyond that but I’m simplifying for the sake of not making this post too long).

Known Matesprites include Abbot & Baran, Emma & Joy, Samira & Mel, and Trinity & Yolanda

Abbot and Baran met in The Pitt and bonded over their joint experience in the Condense’s army despite never crossing paths in active duty. As veterans who were both disabled and left for dead they struggle mentally but find solace in each other. While recovery is a slow and sometimes painful process, having someone who understands their struggles so deeply brought them into a matespritship. They display their affection through medicine with Baran working on prostheses and Abbot working on treatments for voidrot. They bring out the best qualities in each other such as ambition, resilience, and rebellion.

Emma and Joy crossed paths before they began working in The Pitt, meeting at low brow parties. Joy took an interest in Emma and rescued her after highbloods attempted to accuse the olive of theft. They both felt a spark however they never properly pursued anything and went their separate ways. That was until they met again in The Pitt and reignited their connection. The two are a little rocky due to their conflicting views on the hemospectrum but both try to be understanding of the other's plight. They bring out the best qualities in each other such as curiosity, empathy, and honesty.

Samira and Mel met in The Pitt, never crossing paths previously due to Samira's role as a jade in the reclusive brooding caverns. The two worked well as coworkers however they bore bouts of tensions due to differing ideologies regarding care. Mel's more blunt attitude interfered with Samira's more comfort based treatments. Many feared the pair would sour into kismesisstude however the passion they felt steered solely flushed, lacking a competitive or aggressive undertone. Their regard for each other as intellectual equals makes them feel like the perfect match which some may regard as lacking humility. They bring out the best qualities in each other such as ambition, thoughtfulness, and determination.

Trinity has a complicated matespritship with Yolanda which teeters between red and black. While both claim their relationship to be casual it is easy for any observer to find the coiled tensions between them which reveal anything but. Having started their relationship after bonding in The Pitt, they’ve been on a rocky ride due to the inherent combativeness of both of their personalities. This is not assisted by Yolanda’s higher blood caste and friendship with the cerulean Frank who Trinity has a bad history with. They don’t always bring out the best qualities in each other but they can inspire competition, passion, and investigation.

Additionally Robby has a one sided flushed affection for Abbot however this remains hidden especially in light of Baran and Abbot’s relationship.

Known Moirails include Dennis and Trinity, Dana and Robby, and Mel and Frank.

Dennis and Trinity became friends after Trinity took pity and offered him a “temporary” spot at her hive after his own was destroyed. This temporary accommodation turned long term as the pair discovered a deep bond between them. They work remarkably in tandem leading many to question if they truly just met by happenstance rather than fate. They often squabble but do so in a way that favors each other's best interests. Trinity keeps Dennis in check by discouraging self sacrificial behavior and Dennis keeps Trinity in check by discouraging isolation and self hate. Together they bring each other community and stability.

Dana and Robby are longterm moirails having been raised by the same jade blooded carer. Dana assisted in rescuing Robby from being culled and became close to him due to their shared interest in the medical. After the loss of their parental figure they both left the caverns and tried to isolate but were consistently halted by each other. They aren’t always happy nor do they always get along but they do try their best for each other. Dana keeps Robby in check by catching his biases (both self and external) and Robby keeps Dana in check by humbling her ego. Together they bring each other understanding and protection.

Mel and Frank met at The Pitt, having not formerly crossed paths until then. This gave Mel a distinctly fresh outlook on the cerulean which was not weighed down by his past behaviors. They quickly bonded due to a collection of shared interests and found moirallegience to be a natural outcome. Mel keeps Frank in check by discouraging self sabotage and Frank keeps Mel in check by encouraging decompression. Together they bring each other grounding and relief.

Black Romance (kismesis ♠️ and auspitice ♣️)

Known Kisemsis include Dennis and Frank, Trinity and Yolanda, James and Victoria, and an unrequited one between Robby and Baran.

Dennis and Frank have a slight bit of history between them before The Pitt, having crossed paths during a low brow party. Unlike Emma and Joy where the high blood protected the low, Frank participated in harassment against Dennis alongside his peers. Upon meeting again these feelings have not faded and the pair are known for their passive aggressive spats which sometimes get in the way of their work. Their relationship inspires competition and allows them to shed off their customer service personas. (Frank has admitted to his moirail in private remorse over harassing Dennis however he enjoys their kismesissitude).

Intellectual go-getters with opposing views on alternian society, Victoria and James were bound to fight. From the moment they crossed paths in the Pitt these two locked into a quick rivalry which has been bordering on kismesissitude. This was pushed further upon both forming an attachment to the rust blood, Cassie. While neither has made the first step in officiating their relationship they already bear the spoils of increased intellect, independence, and confidence. Some complain their egos have also increased tenfold.

Robby bears a black crush or one sided kismesissitude with Baran, fostering heavy negative feelings towards the gold blood. He doesn’t believe she no longer aligns with empire and continuously views her actions in bad faith. Due to the one sided nature of this relationship neither bear any benefits.

Known Auspitice include Robby, Abbot, & Baran, and James, Joy, & Victoria.

Due to the onesided kismesissitude of Robby and Baran their relationship has been deemed tumultuous enough for intervention. As a friend of Robby’s and the matesprite of Baran, Abbot has taken up the role of intermediary to make sure the pair don’t go full volatile. Unfortunately additionally feelings have made the auspisticism doomed from the start as Robby bares a minor red crush on Abbot. If they want to truly calm things down they’ll need to either make compromises or cut some relationships out.

Due to the uncertainty in James and Victoria’s kismesissitude minor intervention is necessary. Much to her annoyance this has been a role taken up by Joy as she ensures the indigo doesn’t end up on the bad sad of a seadweller. Additionally Joy makes sure the two don’t get too lost in their intellectual worlds, a common side effect of their pairing which often has them disregarding important tasks and work. Despite her outward disdain, this auspitice has been quite successful thank to Joy’s mediation.
