bro i can’t fucking deal with pitt twitter like what is their deal over there. it seems like they’re all trying to claim the moral high ground the whole time, while simultaneously being biologically unable to see even a gram of nuance. like no you’re not a better person for thinking the suicidal character should kill himself for being misogynistic. you’re not a better person for thinking santos deserves to relapse bc she’s mean sometimes, and you’re not a better person for thinking langdon deserves to die for being an addict. like a lot of these people are genuinely adults, but i feel like they don’t spend time interacting with people who have had even a mildly different life experience to them. their entire outlook has basically been shaped by online politics and a necessity to always look like you are morally correct. i also dread to think how they interact with ppl irl, like if this is how you’re treating fictional addiction and mh struggles where there are no consequences, god help the person that ever comes to them for help.
