Wow, what a treat! Talk about making a platformer that gets me intrigued. While the genre is flooded with clones of each other, Darkness Revealed literally gets flooded and takes side-scrolling underwater.
It’s still essentially your jump-and-run-and-grappling-hook thing like everyone else (with a hook), but one look at the teaser trailer shows promise of some originality in terms of what the game is trying to tell.
The tentative release was set for November 2017, although the developer Pixel Cows (Facebook, Twitter) went a bit silent these last few months so it’s probably gonna be a bit more, but holy pixel cow, am I looking forward to this one!
