☠ - angry/violent headcanon for whoever the feck you want!
It takes Nile some time to learn that although Booker, Joe, Nicky and Andy are centuries and millennia old, it doesn’t mean that they don’t have their respective issues. Booker’s depression was one thing to figure out and sort, finding a therapist they could trust enough to send Booker to had been one thing.
(It had helped a lot, especially the survivor’s grief and unspoken depressive episodes he was used to getting whenever the loss of his family became too great to bear - at least now he’d learned some positive coping mechanisms and how to express his feelings rather than go off on a rant and go behind their backs to betray them).
Andy is prone to angry outbursts too, but the one that she’s the most surprised about is soft spoken, kind and bright Nicky. It’s been some years already, and out of the whole other group of immortals, she thinks she can count on one hand how many times she’s seen Nicky even get close to feeling annoyed - not even angry, just bothered.
So, when they’re caught off guard by an aggressive cab driver in New York, who decides to cut them off as they’re obviously crossing as the pedestrian signage tells them to, she is incredibly surprised to see Nicky absolutely and completely lose it.
Joe leaves the rest of the group as Booker ushers both Nile and Andy onwards to their final destination, and half an hour later, when Joe and Nicky finally catch up them, Joe tells her that even though Nicky was born in Italy before they invented cars, Nicky still gets incredible bouts of road rage and that’s why he isn’t allowed to drive them anywhere.
(Nile had noticed that Nicky never drove them anywhere, but now that she has the last missing piece of the puzzle, things start to make a lot more sense).
