It's amazing to me that this is my seventeen-thousandth post on Instagram. 📆0️⃣0️⃣0️⃣ My feed has evolved from a random moment-to-moment diary 📃 to a competitive “race-to-post-the-most,” 🏇 to a place where I’ve become more thoughtful about the content I share. 🧠 Since I started my deep dive into social media 11 years ago, my life changed. 📸 From superficial encounters, have come friendships that jumped from virtual to real. 👭👫 One of my closest friends is someone I've yet to meet in real life, but we talk several times a week. 📳 But I've met many dozens of friends in real life in faraway places like Italy and Germany, to NY, CA, NV and beyond, and love meeting those who live here or visit Seattle. 🌎 My family knows many of my friends here because I'll share photos or stories about conversations we have. So even though you and I merely pass one another in the electrons, you're actually part of my life. Like, last week I was so sad to learn my friend, Aki, lost his cat Axel. It made me cry 😿 This is all to say you enrich my life, and I'm truly grateful for our connection. 🙏 Since I started attending school full time in January, time is scarce, 💻 so I sometimes post less than once a week. I really appreciate those of you who still tune in, and I thank you for your comments, banter, emojis and especially the meaningful conversations. 🗣️ It's highly rewarding to have a window into so much of the world. 🔮 I've met such wonderful, interesting, smart, talented, kind and funny people, and I have learned so much from you. Thanks and ((hugs)) from Terri ♥️🙋 #thankyou #17000 #photooftheday #instafriends #gratitude Photos shot with #pixel2xl including #hellebore #fern #fernfrond #flowers #pixelperfect #pixel2xlphoto #pixel2xlphotography #googlepixel2xl (at Central District, Seattle) https://www.instagram.com/p/Bu3BZmSFkTf/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=1rafepfo9yjyb
