Shae-does-disney's Questions:
1) Favorite place to eat on Disney property/favorite thing to eat on Disney property?:
Krista: I don't really have a favorite place to eat considering my family has nine people in it and we try to not eat out as much as eat what we brought with us. But when we did eat out, I really did enjoy the ginormous turkey legs.
Abby: I also do not have a favorite place to eat, only because the few times I've been and eaten places, it was either quick service or I was just too young to really remember it. My favorite thing to eat, however, would probably be a Mickey Ice Cream. They are soooo good. Perfect ratio of chocolate to ice cream. *salivates*
2) Favorite song in a Disney movie?
K: I would have to say "When Will My Life Begin" from Tangled. Rapunzel is my favorite princess and I basically memorized every song. I sing it in the morning when I get up early and have to get ready, and even when I just feel like singing. It's the best.
A: Beauty and the Beast. It's always been really inspirational in a cutesy lovely dovey way. "Bittersweet and strange, finding you could change, learning you were wrong." It just says so much about love, that it changes you in the best way possible and that you can go from a not so fabulous person to the person you were meant to be to fall in love. I just love love.
3) If you could live at any Disney Resort-Hotel, which one would it be and why?
K: I would permanently occupy Cinderella's castle. I know it's not a hotel or resort, but let's be honest, I am a freaking princess. Living there would only make my life sooooo much better. I would walk to the window and wave to the peasants that come to my park. I would rule that shit.
A: (I may or may not have laughed at Krista, considering none of the 'peasants' would be able to see her through those thick stained glass windows.) I would probably live at the Animal Kingdom Lodge because giraffes are one of my favorite animals and I would be totally live in one of the rooms where they can come right up to the balcony just so I could be like, "Hello my lovely animals!" every single morning. I would be like the jungle princess. With baths.
4) Character you think would make the best spouse/partner?
K: Unggghhhh Eugene Fitzherbert!!!!! He is compassionate, he cares for people, he is sexy, and he is just ughhhh I can't. I just love him so much. If you have watched Tangled ever you would obviously be able to tell that he is perfect. He has a wounded back story too!! Ugh Beautiful. Smart. Cunning. Sexy. ohhhhhh dearrr....
A: I'm not even sure. I think it would be a tie between Kristoff and the Beast/Prince Adam. They're both just such manly men. With muscles. And grumpiness. What can I say, I love the grumpy men. They make the best partners because when they're not grumpy you're just so excited and happy. (Also, I realize grumpy sounds bad. I mean brooding.)
5) Disney character you identified the most with?
K: Rapunzel. If you couldn't tell already! She is a dreamer, optimistic, passionate, fun, smart, and sings about everything (even though every princess does that). I look for the good in people and I love hearing about people's lives (she wanted to know Eugene's back story and even the people's in the bar). She gives people second chances and is a people pleaser like myself, although that changes by the end with Mother Gothel. I just think that she is very inspiring and a great role model.
A: Belle. She is headstrong, honest to a fault and super smart. I love that from the very beginning all she wants is to get out of her provincial life. I can totally feel that girl. Or at least, I used to feel that. I definitely got out of my provincial life. And I love that she's the princess with her nose stuck in a book, because all my life that's been me. And I sorta look like her. Or I would if my hair was like a shade or two lighter. The way it is naturally is more Snow White than Belle ):
6) If you could have any role at WDW (or Disneyland), what would it be and why?
K: I would love to be a face character either of a princess or a fairy. I really just want to inspire kids to do what the characters in the movies did, standing up for themselves, doing what's right, or just being them. I want their dreams to come true and I want to be a part of that. I want to see their eyes light up when they meet their favorite character, and if I can help make that happen, that would mean the world to me. It would be priceless.
A: I have two top roles? Is that selfish? Oh well. Well, my first role would be to be a face character, obviously. I would be Belle or Snow White, given the chance. (And Krista and I will be auditioning soon!) I would just love to be able to make a little kid's day or just be able to spend the day in that world. My second role, were that to not happen, would be to work attractions at something like Space Mountain or Jungle Cruise. I would just really love to be able to interact with SO MANY PEOPLE. Because I love people and I love to make people happy.
7) Favorite character to meet in a park?
K: Alice. If you ask her questions, like where is so and so or where is this ride? She will point in two directions and tell you this way. She is really funny and ridiculous. I love her. There is also Peter Pan. He is super funny and childish and nonsensical. I love him.
A: Mickey Mouse! I don't even care that he can't talk! He's stolen my heart and I love him more than anyone else, so meeting him is always like a dream come true! (And besides, he's the boss!)
8) Most watched Disney film(animated or non-animated)?
K: Peter Pan, both the 1950s one and the 2003 one. I absolutely love the idea of never growing up. It doesn't even mean physically growing up, but just keeping your childhood imagination, joy, hope, and dreams. I think that is beautiful. Plus Jeremy Sumpter is still my childhood crush.
A: Beauty and the Beast. Bet none of you could have guessed that whatsoever. Not like I'm in love with it or anything...awk.
9) Thing on your Disney/DCP bucket list you most want to accomplish?
K: Make a child's dream come true.
A: Ride on Space Mountain with the lights on.
10) If you could spend any holiday at a Disney park, which holiday would it be and which park would you choose?
K: I would spend Christmas in The Magic Kingdom in Paris. Christmas is already my favorite holiday because of the decorations and the idea of family, love, and the wonder of Christmas, and being in Disney World Paris would be super magical over the top beautiful.
A: I would also spend Christmas in the park, but my park would go out of reach by about an ocean...because I would be in Disneyland Paris. Magic Kingdom in Paris to be specific. (Also, Krista and I are currently hula dancing on my bed to Hawaiian Roller Coaster Ride...we are so Disney people.) Anyway, I'd love to be involved in the Magic Kingdom madness that is Christmas because I feel like it would be so magical.
11) Ideal Disney Date?
K: It would be a nice day, not hot and humid or raining, but nice enough to wear shorts without sweating. I would wake up and go eat some frozen bananas with him while in MK. We would go on rides like Peter Pan's Flight and the Pirates of the Caribbean ride. We would hold hands while walking and pose with characters of all sorts. We would kiss a lot while taking pictures and just be super adorable - the kind of adorable where you want to punch the couple in the face because it's nauseating. Although you wish you were half of that couple. It would be sooo cute and adorable.
A: A warm day, basically the same as Krista described it, with it not too hot. We would begin the day by going on Space Mountain. Then when it got too hot, we would go to Splash Mountain. We would watch fireworks together, go on the Carousel together, and at the end of the night, we would go on the Haunted Mansion. Then we would end the night by having dinner at Cinderella's Royal Table. And obviously we'd hold hands the whole time, even if our palms are sweaty. And eat lots of Mickey shaped food.
Our Questions:
1) If you could pick one Disneybound to go to the park as, who would it be and why?
2) What's your favorite park ride and why?
3) What's your favorite Mickey shaped food item?
4) If you could buy any one merchandise item from Disney, what would it be?
5) Who is your favorite Disney villian?
6) Which original Disney Princess story would be your favorite? (By this we mean, before it got Disneyfied. Such as The Little Mermaid where she turns to seafoam at the end, or the Cinderella story where the stepsisters cut off parts of their feet to fit in the shoe.)
7) Least favorite Disney ride?
8) Least favorite park?
9) If you could go to any Disney park in the world, which would it be and why?
10) If you could spend your 21st birthday at Disney, how would you spend it? (We'd both drink around the world!)
