one roma person does not speak for all roma people, so them being okay with the use of a slur does not make it okay for other ppl to use it too. if they want to say it with a non-roma friend in private that is their own prerogative, but the use of the slur by gadjes as a way to appropriate and glorify """gypsy""" lifestyle is problematic.
