Heat Wave (12:18 PM)
Glancing up at the sun through the shade provided from her sunglasses, a beautiful aqua colored glass, they were pretty and added to the running theme of her bikini but didn't do very much to keep her eyes from being blinded by the sun. But she didn't mind it very much, her hazel eyes slowly seeing nothing but white before she settled her vision back down to the camp around her. Sitting primly on the porch to the cabin that she shared with her sisters...and brother. He was a bit of a freak if you asked her, he didn't speak to any of them and had an odd little girl with thick eyebrows trailing after him everywhere that he went. Peyton...that was her name, it wasn't as if Marnie really cared about the girl or her name, she tended to get on her nerves whenever she was around. She'd actually cried once because of a small bit of snark that had been sent her way. Calling Marnie a bitch, telling her that she was cruel and insensitive. In reality, Marnie had simply told her that Psymon was off with some girl from camp and that Peyton had no reason to sit out on their porch the whole of the night. Swinging her legs from her perch on the railing, she was looking for someone in specific. A son of Apollo, it was a sweltering day, an odd heat wave in spring and everyone was taking advantage of it, including the daughters of Aphrodite. Several of them were laying out in the sun happily, acting like teenagers not demi gods with the worlds on their young shoulders. Marnie wanted to be a teenager with a crush today, and she felt like one. Out of training gear and in short shorts that showed off runners legs and a crop top that exposed a tight stomach. Her white sneakers oddly bright despite the fact that they were surrounded by dirt.
For once she looked like herself, not shifting and changing her appearance Her coppery hair caught the sunlight making it appear brighter then it was, freckles dotted across her face, standing out a bit more then usual. She'd wanted to look perfect, he was known to be a ladies man, then again as a son of Apollo, the cocky fool of a god who was more interested in his own face then anything else, who could expect much else of him? Speaking of which there he was now, raising a hand a bright grin on her face as she called out his name, hoping lightly from her perch. Happy to be away from the cabin, she had to be thankful to be away from it. She wasn't sure how the son of Aphrodite put up with the ridiculous Barbie dream house of a cabin. She would prefer softer much more neutral colors. But she was thankful for a roof over her head she supposed. Marnie was well aware of the fact that she could influence how he felt about her, she could make him want her in all ways, but what good would that do her? Well...it could prove some fun...but in the future perhaps. She however had no qualms with manipulating how the world saw her, making herself radiate with beauty. She was a daughter of Aphrodite, of course she was beautiful. But she damn near glowed with it when she wanted to, and at the moment, she wanted to. "Austin, wanna go swimming? It's perfect weather for it," She all but preened as she made it to the taller ginger's side, her eyes trained up on him. She wondered if he liked girls like her? She could be anything that he wanted, tall, blonde, even pudgy if he was into that sort of thing.
