There was nothing more satisfying than having actually put together a costume without it blowing up in your face. After weeks of preparation, Aidric had finally discarded his original costume and opted for something a little more practical for his skill level. While it had still taken quite a bit of work, Aidric was rather proud of how it turned out. Attending a dance in costume as Pyramid Head wasn't necessarily the best idea that he'd had -- as Aidric can't dance, and dancing with such a cumbersome head piece most certainly wasn't an easy thing to do either way -- but it had been entertaining.
Through the obscured vision of his mask, Aidric could barely make out what appeared to be a young woman in a red dress. Concerned that someone had taken the opportunity to sneak girls into the campus, Aidric pushed himself through the bodies on the dance floor until he was close enough to grab the shoulder of his target.
And, upon closer inspection, Aidric realized that those legs were far too masculine to belong to a woman.
He relaxed considerably and removed his hand from the kid's shoulder, but not before patting it awkwardly in apology. If he'd tried to speak, his voice would be muffled, both by his mask and the music -- so for now, he was limited to gestures.
