Jay’s a bit surprised when Aidric speaks to him and he nods. Immediately, the boy begins to make his way toward the bathroom. He could of sworn that Aidric said he didn’t want any help, but that slight bit of intimidation is enough to make Jay not even question it. “I’m coming.”
After waiting for the boy to catch up, Aidric opened up the door and walked inside. He stood in front of the mirror and examined how much blood coated his neck and the top of his shoulder, but for the most part, it had dried. As he gathered up a paper towel and covered it with soap and water, he spoke. "We run into each other frequently enough, but it seems to me that I know little about you." He didn't even wince as he cleaned the back of his neck, carefully pulling hair away from the wound. "It's an admirable thing, offering assistance to those who need it. Is it a habit you keep?"
