Now Reading: THE BOOK OF JOB (The Bible)
The story is about a test of faith. A lot of us can relate to Job in finding answers to our questions in life. Unfair? Mysterious? Manageable? Lonely? Blissful? Every question we ask our Lord comes from a struggling emotion. Most of them are predicaments that we cannot handle anymore, that is why we ask for his help or even seek for answers why such things are happening to one's life? Job came to the Lord and cursed him for taking away his family, neighbors, wealth and living; But the Lord understand where he's coming from. The Lord talked to Job and made him realize that everything happens for a reason. Every thing that the Lord touches, it conglomerates to one main purpose. I totally can relate to Job's story. If somebody has given me something (i.e. tangible things, opportunities or even a good way of life) and these can relate and benefit to my happiness, then I would praise or give thanks to those people. But in the event they take it back from me, of course, and I know every individual would feel not really good. Questions will now come out of the picture. Who's to blame or simply ask why? Our Lord has the control of all things, when he say enough, then we have to accept. The popular saying "The Lord has better plans for me" will now enter my heart and I will be whole again.
