i told myself i wouldn’t let myself get dragged down in the like clockwork “luke had his reasons but went abt it the wrong way” arguments that surface Every Godamn Time but it’s just so annoying to hear considering one) no one is actually willing to answer the question of what he should’ve done instead to get the gods to stop mistreating their kids and two) the fact that the literal end of the entire first series proves him n his actions as literally being directly responsible for enacting positive change within the system even despite his death. like people give him shit for allying himself w kronos bc he’s ’obviously evil’ as if like. even if we take out the part where luke was groomed n manipulated as a teenager into helping him be revived, literally where else was he supposed to get the initial raw will n force n power necessary to try n form his rebellion in the first place…. kronos backing him up is his only insurance keeping him from being squashed like a bug by the gods immediately. we literally see this exact thing threatened @ percy multiple times over in the books AND see it play out at the end of s1 when zeus almost smites him for just being uppity lol!!! n yet no one making the “wrong methods” point is ever able to acknowledge the practicality of it all LMFAO
