These last two exercises I decided it was enough for my first day back at the gym. Especially that my knee decided if I were to do too many repetitions of this back bending exercise it would give up on me. I will look forward to revisiting Brixton Street Gym when I next come into London next Wednesday. Expect to see me give myself even more of a punishment spending more time on the barbells and perhaps with more moves. One thing you may have learned about me I don’t give up that easily to injuries, I work round them, I learn to adapt. My feeling is if you mentally give up your body will follow on pretty quickly and you will ruin any gains. My mottos are keep on moving and never give up. My knee is possibly going to take as much as six weeks to heal and then it will be back to some parkour with a difference I will do my best not to allow myself to get an injury like I did. I will do my best to train in a parkour workshop. My calisthenics training will be split between working out in the woods on trees and at gyms I feel offer me the solution I am looking for. Four Gyms primarily offer me that. Brixton Street Gym, PK Generations, Lee Valley Athletics Centre and The Body Factory Enfield. Why you might ask four gyms? Brixton Street Gym because I like the community spirit and the Ethos of one of its founders Terroll Lewis. PK Generations because Parkour is something I kind of do in my own way but also try to get some great tips. Dan Edwardes and his team are expert at teaching at workshops I find rewarding plus there are plenty of bars for me to hang upside down from(perhaps in my next life with be a bat); and I learned to use the aerial lyra there. Lee Valley Athletics Centre because they have an indoor athletics track that I can enjoy sprinting down in the winter(with a bit of lucky my knee will be healed before then) presently there indoor area is not open and its on my home turf as is The Body Factory Enfield essentially for one piece of equipment I can’t replicate in the outdoors a vertical monkey bar. #brixtonstreetgym #pkgenerations #leevslleyathleticcentre #thebodyfactoryenfield #keeponmoving #keepmoving #flow #keepthatbodymoving #moversmindset #dan_e https://www.instagram.com/p/CDE1c_BjsJr/?igshid=5y1vidrftmjg
