Lead Me Home || Kimi & Charlie
Charlie had popped open the car door as soon as the convoy came to a halt. Her reflexes had kicked in, causing her little time to question her actions, but everyone else inside Thomas's car, spaced towards the back of the moving caravan, had done the same. Her palms casts a dark shadow of her eyes as she shields her gaze from the sunlight, but there's no mistaking the noise, the small groan of a crowd.
They've been ambushed, and there's too many cars in the way on the road and too many walkers to simple ignore. Perhaps it's a death threat that spurs the action, the quick snatching of her handgun from her hip as she lifts it up towards the horde. Someone might've yelled at her not to, but she doesn't stop. "Move the cars outta the way," she instructs to anyone behind her, because someone would need to clear a better path for the group to navigate through to their next destination.
She fires off a round, the bullet lodging inside a shambler's cranium and letting him drop to the ground. Her footsteps are quick and deliberate, beginning to close distance between herself and hungry walkers, despite the blue marks on her arms that promise death if one bites.
