The sun had risen shortly after Alexander found himself forced out of the comfort of his bed due to a flashing light running circles over his eyelids from his phone. The device had a simple message across the screen that read.
[ Incoming Message - SeulSeul ] : I'll see you in twenty minutes.
After he read the text blinking across his phone, everything seemed to have stopped. He stared for a good minute before shoving himself up and out barely dressed for the occasion.
Alexander had briefly remembered messaging the culprit requesting his arrival at a certain location, just outside of the city. He remembered saying a few things about a certain someone that he ought not to have spoken out loud. He combed his fingers through his hair, attempting to smooth out the bed-ridden locks while his feet drug across the pavement of the street.
He stared at the blank LCD screen of his mobile device waiting for at least a response back. It hadn't been more than three minutes before he realized he hadn't even responded to the message he was ever-so-patiently waiting for an answer from.
A low moan slipped passed his lips as he tipped his head back, his throat bobbing just slightly as he drummed up a response, quickly tapping his fingers across the screen.
[ SeulSeul ] : I'll be there shortly, try not to wait too long.
[ SeulSeul ] : I might have over slept.
Alexander quickly deposited the phone into his back pocket before finally walking as though he knew how, instead of barely dragging himself about. His lips pressed together tightly as he spotted his desired location. A tall green tree stood with a simple wooden bench tucked just underneath the stray branches, giving the entire park a sort of modern feel. He approached a building just before park to order a simple black tea and a mocha for the guest he had been patiently awaiting.
That was until he was waiting for forty five minutes with a watered down caffeinated beverage sitting at his feet and any empty cup of tea stacking across the surface of the bench, next to another six or so identical paper cups.
He finally found himself fidgeting with the brand new mobile device that he had purchased, staring at the darkened screen as though at any point in time it would begin flashing, he clicked the button about seventy times by then, checking just in case the phone itself hadn't registered the message, but sure enough, there was nothing.
[ SeulSeul ] : Did you really just wake me up in the morning to leave me hanging?
[ SeulSeul ] : That's little much, coming from you.
[ SeulSeul ] : Especially after what I told you last night.
[ SeulSeul ] : I'm wounded, I even bought you a drink.
Alexander found himself rolling his shoulders back, shifting to find a certain comfort on the wooden bench, his arms slung over the backside with his head tipping back just enough to make a stupid face that showcased his proper agitation or rather- impatience.
He shifted in his spot once more, his legs crossing over each other as one foot repeatedly tapped against the ground, the tapping of heels hitting concrete in rapid succession the only steady beat keeping him sane at that very moment.
