Well at first, Eris was unhappy with Milo's obsession with Ryan but they eventually realized that not even Milo was aware of his odd behavior. Milo never exhibited any signs that he was romantically interested in the guy, he just liked bothering him a lot (seeking his attention?) and Eris figured they might even find a use for it one day so for the time being they left it alone.

Honestly, the Milo in this AU isn't all that aware of his feelings. He still thinks that the only thing he feels towards Ryan is resentment, but his obsession blurs the lines between hate and desire. Hurting Ryan is something he finds enjoyment in but due to certain... variables... it starts to stir other feelings inside him.
